Brookie957, I am sincerely sorry that you had a rude experience. Please be assured that April 7th was THE ONLY DAY in 9 years that I was not able to be there personally in the store due to health reasons. I am going to talk to the girls who were there filling in for me. They have never run the store before, and I thought that having the store open in my absence was better than having it closed for the duration of my circumstances. I guess I was wrong, and you are right. Word of mouth is very important to bring in new customers, but our years of building a fabulous consignor base and years of award winning service must be acknowledged. Whom you spoke to was NOT management, just someone helping me out when ill. I think you would agree that you have never before been treated horribly by me (the owner), and I am begging you to cut this girl a break on this one isolated occasion. If you would like to stop in on Saturday or Sunday throughout April, I would like to apologize to you in person and give you a generous store credit to help your anger. Again, I am sorry, but please do not slander me (management) when I was not the one with whom you spoke with.
