With the anti-gun sentiments of the Gun Exchange they have lost my business. A gun shop that doesn't stand up for the MS constitutional right to carry a fire arm shouldn't be selling guns. I would avoid this business if you value your 2nd ammendment rights. more

Jeff, the owner is an incredibly rude and terrible business man. He started this second entry on Citysearch because the existing rating was at 30% due to his pathetic customer service comments. \r \r I recently went in his store and asked a few questions about a rifle and he was ""annoyed"" that I don't work in the gun industry and know everything about firearms like he does. I can't believe I was stupid enough to go back in his store again and put up with his stupid behavior. I have learned my lesson and will take my money to a business that deserves it. \r \r The exchanges prices are inflated and he will provide little or no after purchase support. Go online and save yourself some money and avoid this knucklehead at all costs. more

wtf 4/5/2012

I have been looking for a good gun shop around the olive branch area so i find this place and read the reviews. They seem to be split so you either love this place or not. i decided to go in and see what was actually going on. I walked in and was greeted by who i suppose was the owner seemed nice until i started asking questions about pricing and his stock. He then got a ""better-than-you"" attitude. I told him if i offended him i was sorry but the attitude was not needed. I got pissed and then told me to leave. If you aren't an expert on guns or don't agree with his prices (which are very high) then this is not the place to go. i too cannot wait for them to go out of business. more

The integrity and response of Jeff at The Gun Exchange is simply outstanding. I could not have asked more from a friend dealing in person let alone an internet contact. He is clearly a fine man and given the opportunity in the future I would not hesitate to do business with him. more

Gun Exchange with an attitude 3/17/2011

I bought a glock 23 there. They were super nice and helpful as I spent my $550. A month later I came back, and needed help with a gun and like everyone says, the guy there (I don't know which one was the owner)spent time talking about how high everyone else was at the recent gun show???His prices were as high as anyones. Bottom line, if you are spending money with them, you get personality #1(helpful), if you have spent money with them but are not soending today, personality #2(arrogant and self centered). Go to the Trading Post, Guns and Ammo...ect. I won't be back and like the other poster said, I look forward to seeing them go out of business as well. more

Customer service..umm no, not so much... 3/2/2011

Prices are giving with attitude...They all have a better than thou complex about them...Prices are Ridiculous high retail....The best thing about people like this is take your guns in, fit the accesories you want on, you know, find out what you want...Then get online and buy the same stuff for up to 200$ cheaper on some things...They act like no one has the internet??? As for buying without an FFL, there are plenty of people around here that do sales out of their home and they will charge you 25$ over what it costs for using their license...Hell there's a shop in Southaven that charges 100-125$ for using their FFL...It's just disgusting...Go there, find exactly what you want, then high tail it home to your computer...Game over more

Go to Gunns and Ammo 1/7/2011

They didnt have the exact gun I wanted so I went to Guns and Ammo in Southaven despite the negative reviews I had seen for Guns and Ammo and was treated excellent. Got a better gun, exact one I was looking for, at a much lower price, they took good care of me and had a far superior selection. Any future business I have with be with Guns and Ammo, not these guys. I will say that there is another guy in the Gun Exchange, a little bit older than the owner and wears glasses, he has been very helpful to me and answered any questions I had with no attitude. more

Worst Customer Service 12/29/2010

I have been to this place several times and have made a couple purchases, each time I leave unsatisfied. Customer service in the store and on the phone is HORRIBLE! The owner treats the customers as if they are ignorant and bothering him. That attitude obviously bleeds over to the other staff. The prices are high. I only kept coming to this place because it was the closet gun shop to my house. From now on, I will use Guns & Ammo in Southaven or Double Barrel (GREAT SERVICE) in OB. more

Great Locally Owned Gun Shop 12/12/2010

I found the owner to be efficient, professional and polite. He got me exactly what I wanted at a better price than I could have gotten even at Cheaper Than Dirt. I'm a female and was treated respectfully. I can't say that of all the gun shops I've been in. On the two days I was there, the store was packed but the owner and staff members were taking care of everyone promptly. Everyone was happy as far as I could tell. more

OWNER RUDE, ARROGANT, Needs to be slapped 4/5/2010

Been in several times, prices always maximum retail. \r Owner refused to honor pre-paid FFL delivery fee (he's too busy to look for receipt- STATED HE WOULD NOT LOOK FOR IT, but might give a box of shells for my $40.00!)\r Owner just has an attitude like he's doing you a favor taking as much money from you as he can. I wouldn't be surprised if he wrote the only positive post on here to cover up his poor customer service. Avoid this clown and send him packing. Funny, the first review has the same thoughts I do except I feel this way towards Guns and Ammo.\r \r So far the Gun Exchange has treated me the best over any other gun dealer in the area. The owner of this joint is rude as all get out. Go to Guns&Ammo its right down the street. Over there you get great service and you pay no tax when you pay with cash or a debit card. @ the our guns are lame sorry the gun exchange this guy will get you so ticked off you'll walk right out. Due to his lack of care for his customers. Pros: the do sell guns Cons: they are just A $$ holes more
