Great shop, been hearing there radio ads so stopped by the Clackamas store, was greeted right away by a young man and immediately pointed me in the right direction. I have not bought my gun yet, but will be very soon from the Gun Broker. \r \r more

What a horrible store. They sold me a new gun that did not work. Tried to take it in to have them fix return or exchange but they would do none of the above. ON top of everything the owner told me he could send the gun into the manufacturer at my cost. However I called them myself and they paid the shipping and fixing of the gun with not a penny cost to me. Cant say how upset I was as I even made a trade to them knowing they were a local company and trying to support them. Filed with the BBB as they should not be able to sell people broken items they claim are new and then not refund or exchange when the customer call bull on their practices. The manager/owner was even rude and arrogant from the start when I had come in very calm and polite. Despite the fact I was furious. I would HIGHLY recommend that if you plan to make a gun purchase skip The Gun Broker stores and either make a trip to the new Cabelas in Springfield or go online to BudsGunShop. Either of these are much better options than the shady practices of The Gun Broker shops. more

Poor gun handling practices 5/1/2009

I happened to be in town last month and visited this shop. As I was browsing through the used rifles, I heard a "click-click-click-click-click" sound behind me. I turned to see a teenage girl behind a corner counter, dry-snapping a revolver. She then proceeded to the display case behind the main counter, and TWIRLED it on her finger before placing it down. There were two other employees present and neither one seemed concerned about her unsafe firearms handling. Pros: Fair selection of used rifles, shotguns Cons: Accident waiting to happen more

Excellent Service! 3/19/2009

OK, that review from the guy who posted in February '09 has GOT to be complete fiction. I have been in the Tigard, OR Gun Broker store many times, and have never been treated this way. Every time I have gone in there, the guys have been helpful, friendly, and didn't treat me like I was an idiot for asking questions. Don't bother, abysmal customer service . 2/5/2009

I moved to Tigard but I never knew about this place. I went there today looking for some Cor-Bon 115 grain +P for my 9mm. I walked around with by infant son in his car seat for a bout 5 minutes and no one said a word to me. Pros: You might consider going there after a nuclear war or a zombie attack. Cons: Innocent guns are being held hostage here by people who don't know how to sell them. more

Wonderful customer service... 1/7/2008

I took my concealed weapons class here, and this is where I will go for all my research when looking for any new or pre-owned gun. I was also impressed that they take me serious and they are respectful of me there. I like the customer service and how they make me feel comfortable and welcome. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful without over pushing just to make a sale. They seem to really care that you get what will fit you, rather than push merchandise. Pros: Excellent knowledge from staff Cons: Tucked away in the corner of the shopping strip. Might drive by and miss it. more
