Since there's nothing at this ""mall"" I don't get why you want to live here. Not much within walking distance and the galleria itself has food, gym, spa, and movie theater but that's about it. more

A GRAND LIFESTYLE LUXURY AT ITS FINEST ; we surpass our name grand to great in many ways. we cant be duplicated we have events, workshops parties, toy drive, recycling, movies on weekend, wifi, and theme parties like carnivals luaus, and great hosts that reach out to us and do so much for us though they ahve so many of us to serve. they are awesome. The manager himself now D we call him is amazing his attitude, care, and follow through and so easy to deal with. He gives us movies from his own collection to show on weekends, new bbqs, new stuff i gym, new furniture in our tv room etc,l and so much more we have a new projector in theatre so great from sweet Gary our helpful tenant. The grand ladies are awesome all 3 efficient sweet and they are quite the hotsts too bringing us packages, faxing waiting on us, and Diane leads events with care and concern and for each of us . Imagine over 300 tenants and see all they do. THe maintenance, Rich, many Jessy, juan are all going extra miles all the timem for us. from our firepalces to central air, which is good, security aptrol, free coffe good gym sauna, and wi-fi plus all the extras we cant be beat With so many out there usffering why not relax and mov on up and treat yourself at least in your home life. Im greatful im stil here after over 8 yrs and lucky join the grand luxurious lifestyle here and youll be thankin yourself that you made the grand call. thanks grand team and thank for reading this reviews tenant since 2005 gag/henry more

It's really sad to have to say that The Grand apartments in Sherman Oaks, CA are by far the worst residential building I have ever lived in. It is in a great location, easy access to both the 405 and the 101 & attached to the beautiful galleria and the apartments are decent as well, but the management team makes every incentive about The Grand insignificant. Ever since I moved here in October, I have had NON-STOP issues at this place and it has cause more stress than it has ever been worth. Where do I even begin? more

for the holidays i share my over 5years here. with a fiar overview . when you enter the grand lobby you will be in aw most likely , It is quite a knockout and glamorous That is the beginning of something grander. Its many features and ameniteis is what will bring you her efor the apointment and the tour. I believe weve been quite grand and got grander and now were moving in to a great zone so i give usualy 4 to 5 stars and if there were six alowed i would give it to the new managers ALLIANCE WITHOUT ALL NAMES MENTIONED. see they came and in a few shor months have mad the grand cleaner than ever.. brought new treadmills, that wer hangin for months. The business manager got lots of new furniture for us in our nice tv room that helps for many that dont have tvs, or internet service we have wifi and a starbuck mchine. our list of things are quite long not likely to be surpassed . She had a toy drive for chrity, photos and portraits for the tenants and a gifrt wrapping party, and much more in a short time. Alliance is not only so professional, there very efficient and timely , and with so manly tenants here its not easy they deserve a big hand. we are luckly alliance has come her from manager to new asst manager to maintenance and the cleaning man. with all the manly tenants they handle it so well. we are blessed in a recesion with more than most have out there even in homes or other places. we have a lot her and must realize it as tenants. from the gy, to parking, movie theatres, spa suana, pool, newspaper, dry cleaning service and bagels weekly, and wifi service thats just some reasons to make appointmets here at the Grand. OUr new leasing consultant is our best ever so efficient,, and handles things so well all by himself over 300 tenants and on a weekend as well. call hij and give us a try, if i have not convinced you he will. the list goes on of many things here . for now a blessing to the grand 2010december gag more

YES FIVE STARS IS FAIR WE GET GRANDER AND GRANDER OVER THE 5 YEARS IVE BEEN her in all fairness past management good but now our new organized super professional offia dn maintenance are real quick efficient and professional meaning things even cleaner and things working better than ever. great place for kids and adults great theatre and large gym with many supplies and good spa and sauna . and apartments have great rugs and stron cnetral air a msut in the valley. so ameniteis and things have become even btter since may2010 then we have a new crew.so great is fair it was always grand with many offerings. and the starbuck machine well most places dont have that free coffe for the tenants either. okay so come in and check us out im fairly sulre youll be impressed. recommended for all ages and people gag 2010 more

I wish I were exaggerating when I say that the only good thing about this place is the roof. The apartments are shabby. The walls are a mess. The carpets are quite literally disgusting. Appliances are extremely dated and break constantly. Response time to issues is virtually nonexistent. Neighbors are loud and there's obviously been little to no effort put into making the apartments more soundproof. The place is NOT secure. Had some drugged out people knocking on my door trying to get in and some drunk sales people another time. When we have people visit, they can never find parking. You also have to run all the way downstairs to let anyone in the building (not an easy task--this place is so poorly laid out, it's a maze). Dogs barking constantly. Dryers never work in the laundry room. The "balcony" is a joke. Someone is making a lot of money writing this awful place good reviews. Pros: It's a roof. Cons: See details. more

I think what makes living at The Grand so special is the location location location! Even though the apartments are nice and fairly spacious, I would have to say that it is convenient living here. We are close to major freeways, the famous Sherman Oaks Galleria, and public transportation which is very important for me and many others. Not to mention all the exterior amenities and the parties given by management. The caliber of people that you come in contact with are also amazing and priceless to say the least. Management and staff are very polite and maintain a certain professionalism. Hope to be here for years to come. This is what makes living here so grand. more

yes after over four years we get better and better with our current manager of allmost 3 years. its not only the parties that you wont get elsewhere but the great hosts as i said before they dont have to do these extras for us we are blessed to get the things we do from starbuck machines to theatre , parties , drawings and more things for kids great gym bigger than most in apartments and great workers with all the peopel we have here. you cannot match these things most anywhere im a convinced long time tenant and when moving down hall my new quarters were well fixed up we have good underground too. the sauana is a plus. yes we have earned our name over and over. ga gold since 05 tenant Pros: moving up parties amenities , staff Cons: gues parking more

Im almost 4 year tenant today and alwyas revieweing the grand that keeps getting greater. fu and freindly place accomodating staff and maintenance and cleaning man is great. the manager over last two years is good efficient and always keeping us rolling with activities generous parties movies, starbuck center, and happy hour lately luncheons and recycling ofcourse moving inside the grand to other unit means all new things and carpet and tub etc great yes pets allowed good patios and big gym espcially for aparmtent place ye we hav really no cons and just keep getting better ga gold 3rd flor tenant since 05 Pros: partaies feature, amenities accomodations hosts, Cons: guest parking more

YES AT GRAND OVER 3 YEARS ALWAYS MOVING UP ADN GETTIN GREATER from the movies in a upscale movie theatre and the popcorn to brunches to a big apartment gym outdoing most all to large floorplans and events we always are moving up. The theatre and gym and sauna are outstanding and the workers from clean up to maintenance and office are good . There are so many tenants and they still keep up well. im a tenant several yeras and see the growth and constant efforts of the office and maintenance to keep moving us all on up in facilities , social and general things. From the great astounding lobby and fountain to excellent iving space , firplaces and goo furber rugs We have it all at the Gran suasna movie theatre amazing. greta gym and better than most all apartment ones, spa pool and dry clenaing services. Also the parties, brunches, recycling and more are some extras others cant come close parties with themes for kids and adults I highly recommjend cats are happy with the patios too. 5 stars is fair . Staff turnover is ridiculous, night watch guard a joke! U can find him sleeping in the lobby and he patrols the area but that's about it.They said over a year ago they would be putting in "NEW" carpets and redoing the hallways, I just over heard them giving a tour to possible future residents and they were telling the same lies to them! People are always moving in and out of this building. more

As as tenant for a few years here almost 3 , I believe checking around its the grandest in valley. For the following reason. owners behind it up and beyond the duty events and things that the managers dont need or have to do but do to make us extra happy and feel at home. So many visitors I know have been impressed with our lobby , sauna, spa, and better than most gyms, are marble and carpets and mirrors. Also the units with double patios are something extra. Mentioning the movie theatre where we have parties and movies its screen is huge and great. We have many events and brunches and things and events for kids too. OUr underground parking is pretty ample and our maintenance is good with so many tenants. There really arent any cons all pros I believe. as I sign my 4 lease shortly. As a tenant for close to 3 years I realize how muc we do have here and appreciate it. Whether you participate in parties, brunches, events or other things here , its nice that they give us these things and its not there duty. Our sauna and gym are abong the best out there and our furbur carpets too . The efoorts to give us p arties and many things is a special thing not found almost at any place. There are no cons , maybe more guest parking but we have so much here. 5 stars is fair. I will renew again. The Grand apartments defintely a palace starting at fountain and lobby and the interior of apartments as wlel as the great gym outdoing most all apartment gyms and then theres the movie thetre and tv room , simply unsurpassable. As a tenant for 2.5 years I see all we do have and its a lot whatever a price. parties, movies, brunches, recyclying , things for kids a great spa, sauna and pool and good guards at night as well as fax and other services. Our space is good too . IN the office and maintenance always trying to improve and have things to keep it fun. It works well . Theres so much here youll forget your troubles.
