The Goddard School

This school used to be good but about two or three years ago there was a change of ownership. Since then, class has been getting very crowded as they keep adding kids without any control. They put 24+ kids in a single room; it has become so crowded that kids do not much space to move around with so many people and other stuff in the room. With only two two teachers for more than two dozens of kids, it is hard for your child to get any individual attention if any. I picked up my little one a few days ago and his pant was wet all afternoon, nobody even noticed! more

This school is nice enough, clean enough, and the staff tries hard. The teachers are friendly, but understaffed. They will keep your child clean, fed, and safe. However, for the PRICE - I do not feel that we get what we pay for in tuition. \r \r I'm not paying for a babysitter, I'm paying for EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT, as they advertise. \r I really don't think they can deliver the curriculum promised. I have found on many occasions the teacher-student ratio isn't what they promised either. Plus, the staff doesn't do a great job at communicating with parents (ie. school closings, teachers leaving, new policies and/or requirements) with adequate notice. \r I feel for a private school tuition, my child deserves a bit more hands-on attention and ENCOURAGEMENT.\r \r Overall, it's a safe and nice place to enroll your child. But don't expect more than a babysitter. more

This place is GREAT! My son loves it and never wants to leave. It's small enough and has a very warm cozy family feel about it. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the owner and director are always on hand for any questions or concerns! I checked out quite a few schools/childcare places in the area and this is by far the most welcoming. Pros: Everything more
