My daughter who is a student and has no job spent less then 15 minutes with a staff member who pressured her into signing an apt by saying if you don't sign it right now the apt will be gone. After ashe signed the lease she was told she had to get a co sigher, she could not get a co-signer and they are telling her she can't move in because they won't approve her credit, but she still has to pay the entire year lease. This is wrong, she doesnt have to honor the lease if she is not approved. more

Great place. Recommend it! 2/14/2011

I love living here. This is my 3rd year here. Great staff, amazing maintenance. Not the newest in town, but by far the best. Everything else in town looks and is run just like each other. The Garden District is not your typical student design. It actually has character and so does the staff. I recommend this property highly! more

Horrible 7/30/2010

I've only been living here at the Garden District for about 9 months and this has been the worst place I have ever lived. It looks great and inviting on the outside but when it comes to the inside it is run down. My toilet leaked, a pipe almost flooded the entire downstairs, plus there are bugs coming from the vents and who-knows-where. The staff are very nice but are more concerned about the looks then its quality of apartments. During the hot summer the air conditioning does not seem to work upstairs unless being turned down to nearly 60 degrees and gets annoying to adjust everyday. Since I live in a town home that starts on the second floor I constantly have to go up and down 2 flights of stairs just to get to my room. It is a pain, the first time I walked up the set of stairs outside I almost fell on the top step. It didn't have a sign or anything to warn me. I didn't think of it much until my mother (who just had surgery) did the same thing. This place needs a lot of work and is not meant for people who aren't 100% physical health. Also, do not get fooled by the nice ""show"" apartment like I did.? Pros: lots of parking Cons: everything else more
