Overpriced, below average, does not live up to the hype, and failed to meet expectations. We took our daughter and boyfriend there for a university graduation celebration as the reviews were positive and my wife and I had passed by the restaurant many times over the years and thought it might be a nice place to try out. We sat on the patio, which could be wonderful, but the seats were the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced and the table wobbled. The food, service & wine were all average. The waiter didn't know the menu. They ran out of bread and had to go nextdoor to get some. The appetizers took almost an hour to appear, but they were actually the best part of the evening. Snails, Pate, and Crab Cake were superb. Entrees were OK at best. The Beef Wellington is a $46.00 joke. They grilled a filet, smeared some pate on one side and then sandwiched it between two triangular pieces of filo pastry. Although the filet was cooked beautifully, it wasn't a beef wellington, and I can do better. The Rack of Lamb was another $46 joke. Hardly any meat and not much flavor. However, my daughter's boyfriend enjoyed the duck. We shared a Baked Alaska for dessert and that was pretty good. The bill came to $380 for 4 and, for that price, I would expect to be ""wowed"" by everything about the place. However, the feeling was one of being mugged. We won't return. I have had better experiences at Chilis and Denny's for one tenth of the price. Sorry...
