Provincetown Gem 3/4/2010

We had a wonderful weekend at The Fairbanks Inn, a Provincetown gem of a B&B. Our innkeepers, Alicia and Kathy, couldn't be more friendly and helpful. These new owners have had the inn since 2005. They were very helpful with suggestions for things to do and places to dine as well as helping us make dinner reservations. They have made some nice changes to the inn since our last stay before they owned the inn. Our room was spotless and beautiful. A delicious breakfast buffet with many choices including homemade muffins. Located in the center of town with free parking away from the noise of Commercial Street, makes this a fabulous choice for a place to stay when in Provincetown. . Pros: Relaxing weekend more

Wonderful innkeepers, wonderful stay 5/30/2008

This was our first stay at the Fairbanks Inn, but I certainly hope that it won't be our last. Alicia and Kathy took great care of us! They were warm and welcoming and so was their inn. The breakfast was DELICIOUS (I love my food) and the rooms were cozy and romantic. When a friend came to visit for a day, she jokingly (sort of) asked if they would adopt her! The rooms were well kept with fireplaces and small televisions, the common room was lively and conversational and the staff made us feel like we were amongst friends. Pros: Breakfast, parking, sunporch, private bathrooms, fireplaces, more

Best Place to Stay in Provincetown 5/22/2005

Not only is the best value in Provincetown, it is also the best run, the best location, and the friendliest place in town. The rooms are subtlely and beautifully decorated, the beds extraordinarily comfortable for a B&B, and one of the owners bakes chocolate chip cookies at 4 PM. The fireplace in the living room was roaring and it attracted a wonderfully eclectic group of people from many parts of the country to engage in very stimulating conversation. At the Fairbanks Inn you are literally only steps away from all the activity on Commercial Street. If you are driving, the Fairbanks Inn offers free parking on the premises. The best of the best. Pros: Comfortable beds, Great interior decor, Stimulating people more
