Best Place for Romantic Evening 2/13/2006

The English Inn in Eaton Rapids is an exceptional place to go for that special dinner. The food that they offer is excellent and the service is unbeatable. If you are looking for a great place to celebrate a special event or to just have a wonderful time, this is it. They have gorgeous guest rooms and the antique Victorian d?r throughout the entire Inn that will take your breath away. They also have an area for larger receptions and parties. Their prices are higher than a normal restaurant, but you will definitely get what you pa for. If you are in the mood for an exceptional night of wining and dining, then you definitely need to try the English Inn. more

Beautiful exterior and grounds. Advertises pool, but pool is not nice--need to redo and make nicer and to blend with home and grounds. Rooms are very pretty and so are the rooms to dine in. Furnishings are beautiful. Option of cottages on the gounds which have nicer accomodations in-so-far-as hot tubs for two, but the rooms are smaller and more rustic. Would like to see room service for romantic evenings. Lovely for gatherings and weddings. Beautiful stairway and upper hallway. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Pros: romantic/pretty, nice dining, beautiful exterior Cons: hot tubs not in all, no room service more

Great place for a romantic getaway 11/29/2005

The English Inn in Eaton Rapids is a place that everyone should go once. The food that they offer is excellent and the service is unbeatable. If you are looking for a great place for a romantic getaway, this is it. They have gorgeous guest rooms and the dcor throughout the entire Inn is breathtaking. They also have an area for larger receptions and parties. If you are in the mood for an exceptional night of wining and dining, then you definitely need to try the English Inn. more

Classy Resturaunt and motel 11/2/2005

This place is great. It is very classy. You cannot get better service. Their menu is a little pricey, but for a nice dinner out, it is great. They serve champagne, and also offer rooms to stay in. I loved the English Inn from the moment I walked in the door. The greeter at the door was very polite, taking our jackets and offering us out table. We were seated right by a fireplace, and it was snowing outside. What a great atmosphere! more
