I love to go out for breakfast and I usually am a big fan of hole in the wall, family owned type places, but the Egg Connection was a big exception. The food was gross (fake chee...

GOOD OL' FASHIONED AMERICAN STYLE FOOD 10/28/2008

Very good meals, served quickly, and fresh. Nothing fancy here but the prices are LOW and the portions are generous. Breakfast is especially reasonable & the service is very friendly. I have eaten there many times and have not been disappointed! Pros: Good Prices & Good Service Cons: Tends to be a little on the noisy side. more

Not everyone understands 6/22/2008

I have been to the Egg Connection several times. I have taken many dates there in the past. Now of course it is my wife's favorite restaurant. I even proposed to her there. I can not help but try to relate situations in life. I do my best to see both sides of any story. I love this restaurant. They have the best homemade French toast this side of the Milky Way. Pros: affoardable, delicious and high quality Cons: there is only one more

Charging for lemons when ordering water with a meal! 6/21/2008

First time patronizing the Egg Connection today. One must read the entire menu (front to back). Food was good - the usual cafe type of food for breakfast for an omellete, homefries, and toast. I had water to drink and ordered lemons for my water - was appauled when I checked out to find that I was charged 50 cents a dish for lemons for my water. I had gotten two dishes (just the lemons cost $1.00 at checkout). They showed me where on the menu it states that they do indeed charge for lemons but I personally patronize many establishments here in Tucson and have never been charged for lemons when getting water to drink with my meal. I personally will never go back to the Egg Connection! Pros: Convenient to home Cons: Charge for lemons for water when ordering meal more

Best breakfast, best service, fantastic family-owned restaurant 8/18/2006

Tucked in the Ft. Lowell/Country Club shopping plaza is a family-owned restaurant that has both standard and innovative dishes, excellent service, and an irrepressible family atmosphere where everyone is welcome. The outside doesn't reflect what you'll find inside: character, funky ambience, humor, and dedicated professionalism wrapped up in a family package. Pros: Quality of food and service, ambience, parking Cons: Crowded on weekend mornings more
