I would never trust John with my dog again. He offered to watch my dog when I went out of town and when I came back, I had to take my dog to the vet. He didn't tell me his dogs were sick and mine caught whatever intestinal parasites his dogs had. It was a very expensive lesson, but my poor dog is the one that really suffered. When I called John to tell him, he used an expletive and hung up on me. He also tried the bicycle thing with my dog and fell off his bike, nearly landing on my dog. This guy has absolutely NO business being around animals. He has no idea what he's doing. Whenever someone asks me if I know anyone who is good with dogs, the first thing I tell them is to stay away from John. As long as he's around I will warn people about him. I hate to give this jerk even one star, but they insist you give a rating. more

Do not trust this man - I agree with the K's review below. I noticed this other review in passing and decided I should put my two cents in. I hope more people take the time to use these reviewing sites to help out our friends & neighbors! Sadly, it took me this long to do it. I paid John to train our dog about 2 years ago. Bottom line - John had issues during our training session with our dog that ended up incurring us vet bills (to long/complicated to get into) that were John's responsibility to pay. He admitted it was his fault and promised he would pay. We saw roughly $100 out of him and then nothing. He wouldn't return my calls or my emails so finally I stopped trying. He owes us hundreds more dollars. more

Do not trust this man with your dog!! John was hired to train our dog. He went on a bike ride with our dog and when they came back our dog was terrified of John! Now, we cannot even take our dog on bike rides bc he is also terrified of the bike! John did not offer to remedy the situation and told us it must have been something we did. Now he won't return my phone calls. Watch out for this guy! more
