The Dautaj Restaurant

If it were possible I would have given it zero stars. The food is horrible, overpriced, and boring. The service is nonexistent. Dautaj: just a little tip here. When you let the waiter know what you wish, his response should not be ""Awesome!"". To add insult to injury the bill for the two of us was $120. For NYC no big deal. For an itty bitty town like Warwick that is absurd. If the food and service were impeccable, it would be a stretch. But for that amount of money? Not a chance...... I brought my mother here for mother's day and we had a nice family lunch. The decor is very beautiful and homey in this cottage-esque bed and breakfast dining room. The service was impeccable. They waited on us hand and food and were very attentive. My dad had the lobster bisque which was tasty. We ordered ravioli, salmon and steak. Everything was cooked very well and presented beautifully. Any restaurant that has a dessert tray makes my day, so I was thrilled when our waiter sauntered over with 8 options for dessert ranging from pies, cakes and ice cream based concoctions.
