The Dance Workshop

We have been a Dance Workshop a few years now and things have changed a lot. There is a new owner who really has the dancers interest at heart. She isn't out just for the money and really works with the kids on correcting technique. Its sad that it has just a bad reputation from previous but the new owner is so different I hope peope give her a chance and decide for themselves. The old owner has nothing to do with the studio any more I believe she is working for another studio in Land o Lakes or Lutz now. Pros: new owner is intersted in the students getting better now just in the money more

My child has been attending this studio for several years now and she loves it. I feel as though The Dance Workshop is my second home, and have come to know and love the owner/teacher Mrs. Gloria Tyndall. This year has by far been the best year yet. We had some students leave this year, but it has only brought our studio closer together. Although a smaller studio, we are a close knit family, and don't have all the drama and complications of some of the larger studios in the surrounding areas. The staff, the parents and students are great. I was somewhat shocked to read from previous reviews how the owner is only in business for the money, because I know how many students dance there on scholarships due to their family's financial situations. I too at times have found myself in financial hardship, and it was never an issue of whether my child could dance or not due to my inability to pay. The emphasis has always been on the kids and their love for dance and the arts. My family is very happy at The Dance Workshop, and look forward to many more years there. The Dance Workshop is pathetic. Gloria Tyndall is a horrible instructor who is rude and only in it for the money. She also takes your money for the stupidest reasons. more

I was a dance student at The Dance Workshop and it was torture! The Dance Workshop is not good at all. They don't make corrections with your dancing. The instructor, Gloria Tyndall, is not nice and is only in it for the money. There is nothing unique about their choreography. They always show favoritism towards the kids. I could go on forever about the cons! It is also very stressful there about the gossip and everything. I recommend Sell's Broadway Dance (727-376-2600) if you want a really good dance studio Pros: None! Cons: Lots! more
