Great local hangout and there is a reason for this. The food is great and so is the service. This is a place you want to stop at when visiting Santa Cruz. I like the fact they do not try to turn tables - if you want to sit - they let you. more

The best crepes -- whether you're looking for a great breakfast or a sweet treat. Nice local hangout in Santa Cruz area to go to before/after a day of fun in that city. more

Yummy Good 2/4/2008

The name says it all. They make big, delicious crepes stuffed with just about everything. My particular favorite is Zorba the Greek, with spinach and feta cheese. They make both sweet and savory crepes, and as I said before they are quite large. The patio area behind the restaurant is a great place to eat, surrounded by greenery. more

Best crepes great variety, something for everyone! 1/28/2007

Only go if you love crepes & fresh food. We drive from San Jose just to eat here, plus they have the best Bloody Mary in the world... complete with dilly beans! My favorite crepe is the seascape, which is crab & shrimp. But the creole sauce they serve is to die for so I love that one too! I love the patio seating, however I wish they had heaters it gets cold in the shade. I hve never had bad service at The Crepe Place, most servers seem like college students and are fun with a great attitude! I love this place, we come with or without kids and are comfortable here either way....Our picky kids always find something they like here. Pros: Cozy & romantic or fun the whole family! Cons: Can be cold outside bring a sweater. more

Crepe Place has great food, service, ambiance! 8/7/2005

I humbly disagree with the review from redbobsled. It's like we're talking about 2 different restaurants! I've eaten at the Crepe Place 3 times the past 12 months, and each time, the food was GREAT! Variety, quality & taste -- they've got it! How can anyone call it bland? Pros: Unique crepes, Helpful servers, Lots of patio seating Cons: Not 'inexpensive', Hard to find parking more

This was a place I used to go all the time when I first moved to Santa Cruz, but it seemed to go downhill recently. Most of the crepes are just too bland, and the service is absolutely awful. Unbelievably awful. It usually takes about 2 hours to eat a meal here (another major reason I stopped eating here). Pretty good crepes! 11/5/2002

The dark wood Victorian interior and lovely outdoor garden seating are charming and romantic, the crepes (both savory and sweet) are gigantic and delicious, service is good and the prices are (mostly) reasonable. I have not sampled their soups or salads yet because I cannot resist the draw of the crepe! So good.... more
