I moved here thinking it was going to be a great place to live. The Deposit was cheap and the rent was too for the most part. It's in a great part of town and minutes from everything!
Before moving in I looked online to see what they looked like on the inside. They looked like they were fully remodeled and looked very nice. So I decided this is where I want to live. When I went to check it out I was told there was a one bedroom, but it's wasn't ready yet and I couldn't look at it until it was ready. I knew I wanted it so I went on and signed the lease and put the deposit down.
When my Apartment was ready to move in I was very disappointed. The so called ""GYM"" was not a gym at all. It had two treadmills and neither worked, a broken bike and a stair-stepper. There wasn't any weights like I saw online. The pool didn't open until summer was almost over.
The inside of my apartment looked like it was ready to cave in. The kitchen cabinets looked like they were plywood with white paint over them and they weren't even, straight more lopsided with holes in the plywood from where it appeared they changed the hinges a few times.
I had water damage on my ceiling(big yellow rings) that they didn't want to repair. When went to complained about it I was told they had 30 Days to fix anything that needed fixed. Well, two months later and still nothing. All they did was paint over it with Kilz. Which bled thru.
I went to make breakfast and noticed that my cereal box was stuck to my wall in my kitchen. I had mold growing from the ceiling to the bottom of the wall from the water damage getting in between my walls. I called them again and they said they would fix it. never happened, so I was finally fed up and called the city. It was amazing just how fast they got it all fixed after one phone call. The city came out and did everything that needed to be fix. They did keep me and the city guy from the contractor. Plus I have had to complain many times about bugs.......
I would not recommend this place to anyone even if you are desperate. if I knew how to put pictures on here I would. Only good thing is I had new carpet before moving in.
Good luck!!!
