Without any reservations or hesitation I write this review. I have worked worked with Tawana since 2006 and she has never let me down. I work in the pharmaceutical industry and I can always count on her to make me look good on paper. \r \r I wish her and her business nothing but success. I do believe she is out of the office now, celebrating one of life's joys, a new baby. So, if you call, you may not get her but if you do, you will be pleased. more

I worked with Shawntee and few years ago and absolutely loved her spirit and knowledge. \r \r I had the pleasure of working with Tawana this past year and can say, she was an absolute delight. I was in the middle of a layoff and felt distraught. She reminded me that I am a highly talented person and pulled out achievements I had forgotten about. Everytime I speak with her she lifts my spirit. I now see why so many people absolutely love to work with her. My only complaint is she is extremely busy. \r \r I came out to one of her motivational workshops and felt a sense of pride. There arent too many people who will create a separate group specifically to help those who do not have the resources to pay for a service. She is the real deal and has a great service. more

Country's Best Resumes is a Fraud and Scam. If your resume is really good, you will NOT RECIEVE a revised version. What Tawana Wood does is keeps your resume, and uses it as a sample to write another resume or perhaps uses your personal information for something else.\r \r Not sure who wrote the ""positive reviews"" probably Tawana herself or maybe she used someone else’s reviews?\r \r Buyers beware!!!! If you need to re-write your resume it is better to purchase how to books than to trust Tawana because you do not know where your personal information will end up. How pathetic to run a business using someone else's work. Here is another lie, she claims to have offices in other states and if you Google ""Country's Best Resumes"" there are various addresses and phone numbers however all these numbers lead to one office per the person who answers the phone, which is in New York (that is questionable as well). Call your local operator to hear it for yourself.\r \r Be careful to whom you are sending your resume, it’s one of your most important documents-it’s not a flyer. You do not want to send out you personal information to the wrong person especially online because you don't know where that information ends up. \r \r If you do want to use a resume service make sure you meet the person who will be writing your resume before you submit your information and money. If you are charged money to meet with the resume writer in addition to the money you will be paying for writing your resume than you know something is gravely wrong!!!! Also, make sure you can see resume samples (related to your field) written by the resume writer before submitting any payment.\r \r I have made a mistake by sending my personal information to this ""Resume Service"". I hope I can prevent other people from making the same mistake.\r \r Also, this ""resume service"" offers reference checks. Do not ever provide personal references to this service. You don't want your current or previous boss receiving a phone call from Tawana or her service. Wow! That is what I said when I saw the awesome resume Tawana created for me. I first met her at the free meetup she puts on for those in transition or out of work. She was an inspiring and dynamic speaker with a tremendous amount of knowledge. I was truly impressed. I told her I needed help and had been out of work for more than months. She listened to me and gave me wonderful words of encouragement. She then called me schedule an appt to go over my resume. The end resullt is this amazing resume. more

I stumbled on their resume writing website on Google, and then checked them out on citysearch. When I called, I spoke with Tawana. She asked a lot of good questions and was very nice and helpful. is really important that I let everyone know the wonderful experience I had with Tawana at Country's Best Resume Service/TBC Solutions. I was terminated from my job five months ago. I have been in the workforce for over 27 years and this is the first time I have been terminated. That weighs on ones ego. I saw the revolving door of the company I was with and knew I was next on the block, so I hired a Career Coach/Resume Writer which I will call company “X . I spent almost $800.00 for three, 1 hour coaching sessions and for a Professional Resume. Since my coaching, I have been going down roads that I probably should not have gone down, and I am still as confused today as before I worked with the coach in regards to the right type of position to go after. Five months has passed and I am still unemployed. My resume is heavily posted on line, yet bringing no ""real"" traction. I am now looking down new avenues and am considering making another investment in my resume. You can bet your bottom dollar that this time I will be more diligent with researching Resume Writers before I sign up with anyone. After researching many companies’ websites, checking BBB and so on, I was drawn to Country's Best Resumes. I like what their website has regarding the testimonials, their partnerships, resources and tools. I never found any negative reviews on BBB or review sights. I like that you can actually consult with someone before you pay. I received a call back from Tawana the same day I requested a consultation. Tawana gave me more insight in 30 minutes then I received in all three of my career coaching sessions with Company “X” . I felt like she truly cared and listened, and though she has no coaching credentials her wisdom and experience gives her incredible insight and knowledge. I feel like she gave me more value than the certified coach I worked with. She never tried to sell me or talk me into why I need her services; as a matter of fact she did the opposite. She generously gave me at-least 30 minutes of her time, and I talked to her like she was my therapist. At this point I was so frazzled and felt like I hit a wall. Not only did she talk me off the wall, she offered me suggestions that would not require me to utilize her services; and everything about our conversation was genuine. You know she is in this business for the right reason to help people. I have spoken to several businesses who have one interest only, taking your money. They pretend they care about you, then once they have your money, they could care less if you land the job or not. Tawana and the company are not like that at all. They do care, and from what I researched they make the difference. This will be the FIRST and ONLY company I contact if I should decide that I am going to revamp my resume. more

I am very happy with my resume. The final document looks outstanding. I have to say I look much better on paper that I ever imagined. Be sure to ask for Tawana, she was awesome!!!! We spoke on the phone for about an hour. I know the website says 30 mins but she will talk with you until she has gotten every achievement out of you. She asked me if I had all of the money in the world and still wanted to work, what would I do? I had to really think about my life. She also asked me about the defining moments in my career. I thought I was in counseling or therapy LOL. When I got off the phone with her I truly felt better about my career and direction. The woman has true talents and will change the way you view your job, life and career. I thought I was just getting my resume re-written but now realize it so much more than just summarizing your background its selling your strengths and reminding yourself of who you are. She told me I am an amazing person with a great background and I should really start selling myself more and not take myself for granted. I say all of this to say...she did a great job and helped me regain the confidence I almost lost. When I went on a job interview, I ROCKED it! And it is because of Tawana. I am very proud of the resume they created for me. I am also impressed by the resources I was provided and the package I received in the mail. To tell the truth, the best value of the service is the one-on-one conversation with the resume writer. She pulled out accomplishments I had forgotten about. She didn't rush me and I can talk for hours...poor woman. I showed my resume to a co-worker who was very impressed. I sent my resume in for a promotion and my HR person was like...WOW! She said my resume was the most concise and put together resume she had seen in years. Apparently everyone was talking about how good my resume looks. I got the promotion and believe it was my resume that did. The service also helped me prepare for the interview and gave me great tips on what to say, how I should dress and even follow up. \r \r I don't have much time so I appreciated all of the advice and resources. I have got to say my resume looks amazing! They truly make you look great on paper. I was a little hesitant at first. But when I called, the woman who answered the phone was so pleasant and knowledgeable and when I spoke to the resume writer, I knew I made the right decision. Well, the main reason I am writing this is I sent my resume to a few places and actually got phone calls back for interviews within two days. I finally accepted a job and now I make $28,000 more than I did six months ago! I am a REAL client and just want the world to know that this service is legit. When I first thought about getting my resume done by a professional, I was overwhelmed by the amount of services. I called around and was not impressed. One company wanted me to fill out a 20 question form, another returned my call a week later and another sent me a draft that was horrible.
