This company is incredible! Every person in every department is incredibly professional - from Michael Dean in sales through to Danny in Installation. These guys possess an incredible amount of knowledge about the various products on the market and how best to use them. They helped me choose the best material for my project and helped to keep costs down.\r \r They offer quick, detailed, and binding estimates. Scheduling for estimates, templating, and installation was all done with my convenience in mind. At all appointments, employees showed promptly as scheduled and were very polite. \r \r Templating was quick, easy, and required very little of my attention. I am so used to having to ""hold contractors' hands"" through this process because there are just so few that have any aptitude for details or any degree of complexity anymore. I really really enjoyed neglecting this step and just sitting back and watching. They came in, patterned,determined all the back splashes, incorporated a high bar, two corner sinks, and a single hole faucet then went away. I answered two yes/no questions and they got the entire room perfect.\r \r Installation was as professional as every other step. No messes - they left the house cleaner than they found it. Those guys make moving and placing that stone look so easy. They even took away the old tops. These guys are even pet friendly!\r \r All the way around - I highly recommend The Countertop Factory.\r more

Installation of approximately 80 sqft of Quartz countertops into an existing kitchen. \r \r Sales: Went very well. Michael Dean was very professional and knowledgeable, even let us go to his supplier and select the slab!!\r \r Template: He showed up on time and did a very thorough and detailed job of measuring and building frames.\r \r Installation: The installation was done on time and everything was exactly as ordered. There was a lot of dust left over and it did take awhile for me to clean it up. The only issue was that the caulk was not what we asked for and it was too dark. However, Michael Dean came out a few days later and replaced the caulk with one that matched perfectly.\r \r We are thrilled with our new kitchen.\r more

I highly recommend The Countertop Factory. Michael in Sales was one of the best vendors I've worked with when it comes to customer service and communication. He helped guide me through the process and ran the whole process very efficiently. We have a curved side to our island, in addition to complementary granite on the side counters. He made sure to capture the decorative parts of the side granite slabs. And, his team spent extra time to make our island template complete using only one slab of that granite to save us money. Everyone I dealt with was professional and gracious. Installation was flawless and they even troubleshot an area that was a challenge caused by another vendor working in the kitchen. 'Invisible seams"", which some other companies charge extra for, are standard with The Countertop Factory. The countertops and seams in my kitchen are flawless -- the attention to detail, the quality of work and customer service, and the price make The Countertop Factory a company worth serious consideration. They also allow you to source granite from several granite yards in the area (where some companies only let you pick from their yard). Repeat business is proof of satisfaction --we are having them do the granite sink in our bathroom soon. I am new to the Raleigh area. We purchased a house last fall. We needed a granite countertop in our new house. I gave the Countertop Factory a call. They sent somebody right out, took the measurements they needed (wasn't a five minute measurement, it was very thorough...). Two professional guys came to my house with the granite pieces and installed it. It fit perfectly!!! Looks amazing!!! Great price too! A++++++ more

I recently had a small seam appear in the Corian counters in my kitchen. My house is about 16 months old. I called The Countertop Factory and explained my problem. They sent a great tech out within three days (Chris) and he checked out the problem, as slight as it was and scheduled a return to fix the seam. After Chris left from the final service call I could not find where the seam had been even though I was the one that discovered it originally. Chris left the house cleaner that he found it. We recently decided to install granite countertops in our kitchen, and there were plenty of fabricators from which to choose. We met with and got quotes from 4-5, but we selected The Countertop Factory because we felt that the entire experience would go better with them. Competively priced (not the cheapest), very professional and knowledgeable. Now that it's finished, we are delighted to say: we were right! They were great! It looks terrific, and we just can't recommend them enough!!! Pros: The staff, from beginning to end...! Cons: No Saturday hours... more
