Amazing views, staff, and treatments!! 1/12/2009

I've never been to the spa before, and it blew my expectations out of the water. I've been to many spas down in the valley and not one compare to the Cliff Spa. It started when I first checked in, great service from Rae. It just kept getting better. The spa is on the 9th floor of the Cliff Lodge, so let me just say the views from every window were breathtaking. There is an outdoor pool/hot tub, a very nice workout room and yoga room. The solarium where you wait for your therapist to pick you up, had amazing views, and delicious hot tea. I had a facial, massage and a manicure/pedicure. The woman that did my facial, Daneile was very knowledgeable and really helped me with some skin issues I was having, very relaxing, it wasn't the typical facial she put some extras in that made it very special, I also had her for my manicure and pedicure and she was truly fantastic, great massage, the whole treatment was fantastic! My massage was amazing too, my therapist really focused on my problem areas. Felt fantastic!! I could have spent all day up there!! Can't wait to go back!! more

One of the best kept local spa secrets 7/23/2007

My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic getaway at the Cliff Lodge. First rate service and the accomodations are perfect. I was very happy to find that their salon now DOES OFFER POLISH with their manicures and pedicures and my wife lived the little extra's her nail tech provided. The setting is spectacular and they seem to be putting some money back into the facility. We're going back SOON! Pros: Caring Staff, Clean facility, Superb technicians Cons: Must valet park or walk more

It feels like a clinic... 2/8/2007

I've tried this spa 3 times and I'm officially done. The changing areas are large locker rooms and include saunas, which is nice. BUT, it is a locker room. The relaxation area has a great view of the mountains, but it's cold and not much thought has been put into the area. Basically, it's a bunch of pool lounge chairs that all face the mountain. Refreshments are limited or non-exsistent. Of the three times I've been to the spa, I've had 8 services. I didn't enjoy any of them. I always feel like I'm being rushed and the rooms feel like a doctor's office. There are definitely better spas in Utah for the money. Pros: Snowbird resort, pool Cons: Clinic-like more

Breath-taking Location 1/13/2003

The Cliff Spa is fabulous. Be sure to go early to swim and exercise before your massage. Allow a few minutes before your massage to unwind in the solarium. The extra large windows in the massage rooms are breath-taking. I have been to the CS and generally have had good experiences. If you're getting a pedicure or manicure, bring your own polish. Painting nails is not included. Pros: beautiful location, great rooms, amenities Cons: expensive, cust service, so so, no nail polish more
