I'm not a person who goes on the internet to write reviews, but my experience at this office deserves to be shared with other people. I am a terrible dental patient--I never went to the dentist because of past negative experiences. Really bad experiences-- actually. Well, that all changed when my coworkers finally convinced me to go see Dr. Patel. I first saw the female doctor ("Dr. M"), and I was immediately impressed by her kindness and compassion. I was quickly blown away with how smart she was and how much she knew! She took her time and explained to me about the condition of my mouth. She showed me xrays and models of my teeth and played some videos so I could understand exactly what was happening in my mouth. And for the first time in my life I finally understood how bad it was. No one has ever been that patient with me or has spent that much time with me. She made me realize that even though it was bad, I had full control of the outcome. She was encouraging and caring and didn't make me feel embarrassed or ashamed. I trusted her immediately and knew that she would help me take control of my health. Well, that first appointment was almost 2 years ago. I have been steadly working on my dental issues with the help of both DrJ (he's so funny!) and DrM (brainiac and sweet). For the first time in my life my mouth doesn't hurt and I enjoy eating my food. I finally smile without holding my hand over my face! I have confidence and believe in myself. It's been a long road, but I couldn't have got here without the caring, compassion and encouragment from Dr. J and Dr .M and their exceptional team. This group of professionals is second to none. And it doesn't even feel like you're at "the dentist" when you're there. It feels like I'm visiting family. I know...it sounds crazy but I hear a lot of people say that about this place. I'm glad my friends and coworkers pushed me to go, and I'm glad I listened to them. I'd be in a far worst place today if I hadn't. V.Ashier Gilford, NH
