Life-saving vet for our cat. We adopted two rescue cats. When they were found, both had terrible eye infections and the little one could only be saved by having his eye removed.\r \r Dr Wexler-Mitchell saved his life, and now, he thinks that every cat has only one eye. He is friendly and healthy! \r \r Everyone at the clinic came to love him while we has under their care, and the Cat Care Clinic saved our loved one and gave him a healthy future. I recommend them most strongly! more

I Trust Cat Care Clinic :-) 3/18/2011

New to OC, I wanted to find a vet that specialized in just cats, someone I could trust for both regular maintenance and big issues should they ever come up? After checking out several, I settled on The Cat Care Clinic in Orange run by Dr. Elaine Wexler-Mitchell. \r \r Her practice is clean, quiet (so easy on my cats), fully up to date and staffed by the most sincere and knowledgeable people you could hope for. Everyone from the front desk folks to the tech staff and doctors are completely dedicated and a joy to see.\r \r As it turned out, one of my cats developed a serious condition? YIKES? but Dr. Wexler-Mitchell pulled him through. Her whole group went the extra mile. Now Boo Boo is back to his healthy ways once again, thanks to Dr. Wexler-Mitchell.\r \r I can?t recommend her and the team at The Cat Care Clinic highly enough! Chris. more

Dr. Starr was great with my little guy 12/21/2009

When I first adopted my little guy, I took him to the Cat Care Clinic and was fortunate enough to have Dr. Starr look him over. After the kitten care exam, Dr. Starr took the time to go over with me the care and feeding of kittens, since I'd never owned one before. I was impressed with her and happy my little guy got to be seen by such a caring vet. more

cat care clinic 11/8/2009

Cats in need reccomended this place to me for a second option for my baby Zorro when he was diagnoised with FIP. They saw Zorro right away, did all the testing and came back to me within an hour with all the results, options and prices. They were very sympathetic about his condition and gave me tips on how to make his as comfortable as possible during his last days. more

Not the greatest, not the worst 11/7/2009

The staff seems to care and they are good about getting you in and out for your appointments but I've seen better vets. They are a solid animal care clinic and if you want a place specializing in cats, it's a good place to go. It's usually pretty easy to get an appointment and if it's convenient for you then definitely go. To me, it's a little pricey but not nearly as pricey as some other places. Like I said, it's solid. I wish there was a "Good" option because I wouldn't call them "Very Good" but they're definitely above "Satisfactory". more

Best Cat Vet in Orange County 9/7/2009

I will only take my cats to one place & this is it. The kind & caring staff at the Cat Care Clinic have tended to every cat I ever had & most recently Dr. Amanda Page was the angel who helped my littlest guy when he was very ill. They are knowledgeable & good at handling the pets. I have also boarded my guys there and they are great because they play with the cats & don't mind if you call to check in. more

They really care! 5/22/2008

I took my cat to the Cat Care Clinic after my former veterinarian told me there was nothing I could do to treat her skin condition. The doctor there took a biopsy and found a new treatment that cured her problem. The staff was super nice and helpful. They really love cats there. more

The best place for cats and their owners 4/29/2008

I have had cats for many years and was lucky enough to find this business a few years ago. My cat needed to be shaved down for the summer due to skin problems. The last time I had this done she needed to be sedated and was groggy for days after. The professionals here were able to shave her w/o sedation and ginger was a happy cat. more

The Cat Care Clinic is Superior to any feline medical care facility, within Southern, Ca.\r We lived in North Orange County for 30 years & the past 15yrs the only Vet I'd take my cats to has been "The Cat Care Clinic " \r I now live in San Diego, Ca., I continue to take my cats (150 miles round trip)to The Cat Care Clinic-Orange.\r The Vets including the Owner are superior in the knowledge of all breeds of cats.There is nothing that the Vet?s aren?t knowledgeable about, their passion for cats & professional training surpasses all others as far as I am concerned. I?ve had a minimum of 8 companion cats in the past 30 years, I?ve had both feral & purebreds and they have taken care of all of them.From bathing to MAJOR medical.\r The clinic has boarded my cats a week at a time with no problems arising from a long stays, the veterinary technicians at the Cat Care Clinic are professional and show so much compassion & love towards ALL of the cats that come through the Cat Care Clinic doors more

Cats only 9/2/2005

The cat care clinic in Orange is a strictly cats only vet clinic. The owner writes articles in cat fancy magazine so she knows her stuff. They are super good with your pets and offer world class care. If you have a multiple cat household ask them about a multi-cat discount. They are good about things like that. The office is really nice and the staff is wonderful and caring. Minimal parking in a busy strip type mall is the only downfall. PROS: exceptional care and staff CONS: bad parking/busy location more

Caring Staff 8/24/2005

The Cat Care Clinic has a very helpful staff that make you feel very at ease putting your cats in their care. I love that it is a cat only clinic and the Vets are very knowledgeable. Very easy to get an appointment and reasonably priced. more
