Nowhere else in Tampa will you be treated better than here. This is the first restaurant I've encountered where the service is as excellent as the food. You'll get good steak elsewhere, but most steakhouses around the Bay won't provide a staff that bends over backwards for you. The kitchen can prepare anything you desire, even if it's not on the menu. When I couldn't find desserts that I wanted, my waiter LEFT THE BUILDING to go to a neighbouring restaurant and BUY IT FOR ME. Later I saw the same waiter delivering wine to a customer at the martini bar around the corner because that bar had run out. Think something like that would happen at Bern's? Or Charlie's? Or Ruth's Chris? Or Fleming's? Not a chance. This young man even sent me a ""thank you"" note a couple of days later. He didn't have to do that, just like he didn't have to go out of his way for someone else's tiramisu. That's service. That's CLASS. It's no wonder that competing restaurateurs circle this place like sharks, trying to scarf up ideas along with customers. Innovative menu items like dry-aged strip dusted with espresso or ribeye dressed with dried mushrooms and aged balsamic are not only superb, but compliment classic steakhouse fare like filet mignon, creamed spinach, and french onion soup. Sure, it can get crowded and a little noisy, but what popular places don't? The food is spectacular, the wine is top-notch, and the customer is the center of attention. At those other places, you're just another carnivore. Here, you're a guest, treated like you deserve to be.
Pros: Stellar waitstaff, awesome food, HOT HOSTESSES!
Cons: Outdated music, valet can be pretty hectic
