My dress is perfect! I received it in perfect condition as promised. Bridalshop.com went to a lot of trouble to get me my dress and I appreciate the hard work! The dress fits great and I am extremely satisfied. I thank them with all of my heart. more

I ordered a dress that cose $498.00 on NOV 1, 2009. The owner, Merrill, took my order and and said that for additional $14.00 shipping and handling fee I would get my dress in 10 days. He pulled the money ($512.00) off of my Visa card on NOV 2, 2009. I waited 10 days no dress. I called the shop on the 1-914-381-3808 which was always answered by a live person and was told that Merrill had not even ordered the dress. The customer person that helped me said that he would talk to Merrill and tell him to order my dress. Also stated that he didn't know why he hadn't ordered and it was riduculos that it hadn't even been ordered. Said he would take care of it and should have my dress by the weekend. Weekend came and no dress. What's more Merrill changed the phones to be picked up by answering machines now and stated that a live person would only be in on Wed, Thurs and Fri and then only for a few hours. I called and left numerous request, threats and whatever to get someone to call me back about my dress. Finally Merrill called me on my cell phone and said I will mail you a check for the cost of the dress. Waited 14 days no check. I am suing them in court to recover my money. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

What a waste of time. This shop is small and cramped, dresses are jammed in everywhere, there is no organization, everything is filthy, and the staff has no clue about bridal fashion. There are plenty of other options in Westchester, take this place right off your list. more

The Bridal Shop on Mamaroneck Avenue is a nice store that has a casual and laid atmosphere in which you can feel free to try on things as you please. They were not very busy when I was there, and the woman working there tried very hard to get me everything I requested and helped me try on dresses. They have a reasonable selection and it seems like a good store. more

When you first enter the Bridal Shop you get a real sense of old school bridal boutiques. You are greeted by a friendly staff and are welcome to browse gown and accessory selections. If they are not busy, you may be able to try on a gown, but they prefer you do so by appointment. This is not as big a store as some of the other Westchester boutiques. You will find some comparable classic and contemporary selections and the prices are very reasonable. Do not be fooled with the initial service. If you do choose to buy your dress here, make sure you are giving yourself plenty of time for the order to arrive and make sure you know every little detail about the dress you are ordering so you do not have any disappointments down the road. You will find that your biggest disappointment will be the lack of communication and the appearing disinterest of ANY personnel at the Bridal Shop, to return your phone calls at every attempt you make and every message you leave. I know someone who ordered a dress with a scarf for a bride’s maid and the order was placed 5 months before the wedding. It took over 19 weeks for the dress to arrive at the store and many un-returned phone calls. The bride’s maid made a number of calls while the order was placed to confirm size and colors available, and never had the opportunity to speak with anyone regarding such and the dress was just ordered as is. Once it had arrived, the scarf did not. The bride’s maid was advised that she was supposed to order that separately and wanted to charge her extra cost to order the scarf and then extra costs to ship it to her. The bride’s maid did not have a scarf the day of the wedding. The store has moved form being a mom and pop boutique to an on-line store and it is obvious they can not handle the new business. I have heard that many dresses have been lost. more
