Deemed Hoboken's ""Fine dining"" experience, I was excited to visit The Brass Rail. However, poor value and poor service will keep me from ever visiting again.\r

First, the host and wait staff were short and rude with us. Perhaps because we didn't look like some of the other diners(loaded with money!) Second, the food was decent, but not memorable. I would recommend the mojitos, however, down on Sinatra, there's a place that has mojitos that are twice as good. \r

If you want fine dining, I'd definitely recommend Amanda's over Brass Rail. Otherwise, there are plenty of places on Washington that offer better value. Avoid Brass Rail if at all possible.
Pros: mojitos, ambience
Cons: Loud bar downstairs, pretentious employees, not worth it
