The Branbury

If you don't mind management barging in on you any time it wants, then this is the place for you. Utah residential laws states they must give you 24 hours warning. The Branbury contract says 12 hours. They didn't give us any. They have no respect for basic civil rights. more

My daughter, who is quite capable of handling her own problems, came to us beside herself with her dealings with this management. Any issues she's had, she has followed the protocol Branbury has established, and yet the work orders or written complaints have been practically ineffective. Flooding, bad pipes, limited parking space, lack of lighting and incredibly stringent check-out procedures are just some of the complaints. The worst is the total lack of effort on the part of management to address any issues. My daughter's apartment was without AC for 3 weeks while temperatures were in the triple digits while the office bandied her and her roommates requests back and forth. If you care about your child's welfare, do not put it in the hands of the Brandbury. more

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! It is a decent place to live but the management will get you on every little thing they can and charge you for it. I've never written a bad review about a place I lived in but these people deserve it. The list of their greediness follows: 1. A paycheck was coming late so I sent an email to management to see if there was something we could do about rent (by two days). I got the late fee (I expected it) but they also charged a $30 service fee for delivering a "Rent Due" notice to my door. 2. Final cleaning check. They tell you on the cleaning check list to get a toothbush (not lying) and scrub little corners and crevices. I cleaned everything on the list but I didn't use a toothbrush on the dishwasher so they charged me $50 to have it cleaned. Yes, they're that anal and greedy. 3. On the move out checklist they will charge $5 if you don't leave a fresh light bulb in your room. IT REALLY SAYS THAT ON THE CHECKLIST. 4. Their solution to flooding is to sandbag the patio areas. I checked the drains holes and they have no draining system. Beyond the hole is just dirt that doesn't drain the water and they're too cheap to do it properly. 5. I wanted to move in 2 days early and they wanted to charge me $40 to do so. To understand this better my rent is $333. Divide that by 30 days and it's $11 per day. So they're charging DOUBLE PER DAY for you to move in early. They say it's so they can have it all cleaned for you but they don't. My room was clearly not professionally cleaned and even though I was ok with it I disliked how they were dishonest. 6. On move in day the place is packed with lines like some grade school orientation with stations and takes hours (once again not joking) HOURS!!! 7. My apartment was clean from previous tenants but there were holes in the wall, the furniture was old (I broke a chair by sitting on it), and the beds are way past their life expectancy (the stains and lumps speak for themselves). The moldings almost everywhere are old and decaying. more

They are the most money greedy people I have ever met! The only good things about this place is the salon and the wards! and i'm sure you could find those things almost anywhere here! Ya you don't have a high rent... but that doesn't make up for the dumb people you have to deal with! You can never find parking and if you can that doesn't keep you car safe, people are always hitting the cars around them! (the parking spots are way to small for a "normal" sized car to fit! the apartments are falling apart! For the life of me...please please don't move here...there are a lot of really cool/nice apartments around here...don't be sucked in by their website! more

I have lived at the Branbury for a year now and have loved it! The rates are awesome, especially considering all of the amenities (free tanning, weight room, raquetball, on site salon) half of which you would not find anywhere else. The location is premium, right between UVU and BYU campuses, next to a 24 hr fitness, in the middle of a ton of restaurants, its definitely a fun place to live. There are always things to do and the people are really nice. You get a good blend of UVU and BYU students so its a good mix, very chill. All of the wards are very close knit and they make you feel very welcome. The management tries really hard to hold regular free activities/events and there are always good turn outs for them (bbqs, concerts, ice skating, rock climbing etc). The apartments are better than most I've seen in the area and are very spacious for college housing. I have had a great time socially and plan on staying at the branbury! more

I've lived here for some time now and I really like it. Its close to school, the wards are really good, and the place in general is a fun place to live. They put on a lot of acitvities and things for the residents to do, you just have to get out of your place and take advantage of it. Also there are a lot of things to do here. They have a pool, hot tub, free salon, racquet ball, basket ball, volleyabll, and all these other things. I recommend living here for sure. more

I live in building 1 and I absolutely love it. I have a parking lot all to myself, and I always can park right up next to my building. They recently remodeled the apt I live in so it's way nice. I haven't had one bad experience yet. I would reccommend requesting building 1 because the parking is way better here. more

I've experience nothing but good things here, and can't understand the bad reviews. The neighbors are friendly, I have great roommates, the apartments are nice, the clubhouse is fun and there are always things to do. The management has always been friendly, and have provided frequent maintainance to my apartment. Yes, the Branbury has its ups and downs, but so does every complex. There are so many people living here, there are bound to be a few bad apples. more

I just moved into the branbury for the winter semester and it went really smoothly. I hate moving but this one went much better. I have only been here a couple weeks and already they have has like 4 or 5 activities. The office staff were really helpful in getting me moved in as well. I will definitely be staying here for awhile. The only problem I had was my heater stopped working at like midnight but maintenance came right over to fix it I was super impressed I thought I would have to wait until morning. more

This has been by far the best apartment complex I have lived at here in Provo! more

student housing is all about the same in provo with one or two exceptions. the branbury is one of these. the apartments are pretty good the services and activities are above and beyond. free on site salon services and unlimited free tanning. also great activities every month. TONS OF GIRLS. more
