Overall, I can't recommend this place for anyone under 50.
Simply put, they have a lot of slot machines, simulcast racing, and a tiny poker room. Since I'm not into slots or racing, I can't comment on that. I went there for poker and was disappointed. The poker room is small, not at all modern, and boring looking. The drink service is ok and the dealers were nice enough, but there was an inordinate amount of chip running needed, there was no players-card recording in the poker area, and the dispute handling was mediocre the one or two times I noticed any necessary.
The good things are that it is 24hrs., which is basically the only poker place in the area that is. But that doesn't matter that much if they still don't have many people there. I went to go to an advertised tournament and I was the *only* person to show up for it. When I asked, they hadn't run any of their multi-table advertised tournaments in over a MONTH. That's simply poor.
The decor is blah, with a vague attempt at a Mardi Gras theme. But getting into the place, trying to figure out where the entrance is from the parking lot, etc. is also fairly weak. Finally, the main crowd there was well past 60 with a lot of well known regulars.
All in all, I simply can't recommend it. For more "fun" with bars and drinks and whatever else, I'd head to Hard Rock Seminole...for a more well-run poker room, I'd check out The Isle in Pompano instead.
Pros: 24hr poker room
Cons: Boring location/decor, very elderly crowd, mediocre poker
