The Benjamin School of Academics and Performing Arts

The best preschool around. This has been the most wonderful place I could of ever enrolled my child in as a preschool. The staff and teachers show true dedication to the children that attend this school. This preschool offers performing arts, music, sports and an great academics. They have camera's so you can watch your child on line or on certain phones like the I-phone. As a new parent that has made me feel even more comfortable leaving my child at preschool. I would highly recommend an parent that is looking for a well balance, christian based preschool for their child to enroll them at the Benjamin Preschool. You would not regret it. My child being age 2 has come such a long way with his speech, his potty training, his learning of letters, numbers, spanish, and various academic lessons. If feels go to know as a single parent, that there are teachers out like Ms. Toni and Ms. Debbie that are at this school that really care and are willing to help and work with a mom like me to make sure that my son gets that he need starting as such an early age. This school takes children from 6weeks to 4 years of age and Im again so happy that I chose them. more

This school has been ideal for my family! It has cameras so you can watch your child(ren) on your phone, ipad, android, tons of (extra) activities included in tuition like dance, art and sports, and an amazing loving staff. My kids come home exhausted (meaning they were stimulated all day, not bored or watching tv for the majority of the day) and we have even had more consistent good behavior since they have been attending. I am so impressed that they have top notch activities starting in their infant room and staff often even help me with the kids out to my car. I have definitely have peace of mind each day I drop my children off and encourage parents to definitely take a look at Benjamin School. There are activity fees outside of tuition but the administration is great and it has definitely been worth it. more

We had a great start w/this school, but over time, it was obvious that staying wasn't an option. There's been staff turnover & some poor hiring choices resulted in negative situations - daily notes came home w/all negative feedback, my 3 year old told me his teacher didn't like him (!), etc. it's very, very expensive & the quality - or lack of consistent quality - doesn't justify the cost. There are a few amazing teachers, but if you're looking for longevity in a placement, good luck. more

There are some real positives here, however being a new school, they struggle with things like consistancy and communication with parents. There has been quite a bit of turn over and in the end the school stated they were not ""equipped"" to handle my strong willed son. The teacher lacked authority with him and he bullied her as a result. If you have a 2 year old in Ms Alissa's class- she is wonderful! Unfortunately the next room up struggles with discipline and consistancy. My son is at a new school and has not displayed the aggression that he did while at the Benjamin School. I do not hold my son blameless, but do believe that the current set up is not conducive for a strong willed child that needs a teacher with authority. more

While I don't normally take time out to write reviews even for things that I really like, I have to give this school the praise it is due. I am a parent who has two children currently enrolled at the Benjamin Preschool, and I words cannot express how well my children have been taken care of since I have been there. Dr. Lambert and Ms. Galloway have always been willing to talk with me about any issues that have come up, and have always gone above and beyond for my kids. more

The Benjamin school is a nice school. The staff is very friendly, the kids love going there. The administrators and teachers are always smiling. The best part is I get to watch my kid on the internet while im at work to be sure he's safe. The school is very cute and classrooms have nice artwork on the walls, a very creative atmosphere. The only con is the price. They are a bit high but for the quality of work they do it is worth it. I would recommend this school to anyone. more
