I'm very picky about facials. First of all, I like to be comfortable and more importantly I like to ask questions to make sure I know what is happening every step of the way. Lucky for me, Emily described each step before I even asked! Knowledge is important to me and she has it. I left with glowing skin. I;m definitely going back! more

With a 2 for 1 deal on yelp I received a brazillian and an express facial. Emily was so warm and welcoming! And unlike most bikini waxes, Emily made it practically painless! She is santitary and lets you know whats going on and keeps friendly conversation, making the appointment far from uncomfortable.The express facial was so relaxing and Emily took into consideration my skin type and problem areas. I left with clean glowing skin. I couldn't be happier with my experience at the Beauty Nook! more

Well, almost. I'd not had a bikini wax in 20 years. A little apprehensive before my appointment, perhaps??? Emily calms any fears you may have with her professionalism and warm demeanor. She's sanitary, gentle, and informative. I will never go to anyone but her for my intimate hair removal! more

Even though it is a drive from SF to her, she is worth it! I usually go to her for brazilians, eyebrow waxing, and eyelash tinting. She is very professional, uber sanitary, and makes sure everything is perfect. more

Fantastic Waxing Services and Facials 6/11/2011

I have had wonderful services from Emily at the beauty nook. Superb brazillian. Fast but not rushed. Emily is confident, mellow, intelligent and lovely. I have also had a facial with her and my husband commented on how great my skin looked. Highly recommended! more

Quick and painless! I have been waxing for years, both with strips and hard wax. Emily is fast and it does not hurt at all. The place itself is relaxing, I almost fall asleep during leg wax! more

The beauty nook is the best that ever happened tp me. Emily is is very competent (her many diplomas are on her wall), but what the diplomas don't show are the personalized services you get in a charming way. She promotes natural products versus chemical ones and had many great suggestions. When I come back from my beauty sessions my husband says with admiration "I got a new wife!" . I cannot recommend enough for you to give it a try you will not regret it. more
