High expectations dashed! Where is the fire? - waitress rushes around at light speed dumping drink tray on 2 of us and never apologized! Recommend seafood bisque soup & rib eye steaks. Crab cakes cold, lost their zing. Avoid greasy fried shrimp appetizer and pork special - it was awful, tastes like left overs! Gorgeous beach setting! Lots of bad tables though. Pricey. Drinks but no bottles of wine, plus all courses, bill was $180 for 3, a tad high but they threw in a shower for free! We tipped twice and for poor service? Here's how. Don't judge a book by it's cover! From the outside, the Beach House has a rustic look, but once you walk into the dimmed atmosphere inside...you know you're meal will be divine. The service that I have received time and time again has not been matched anywhere else. I've been to all of the other steakhouses, and they cannot beat the mouthwatering cuisine, presentation, atmosphere, drinks and service. And the view is incredible! Another plus is the friendly bartender, Mike Strong. He's always smiling and having a great time. If for the setting alone, dining here would be well worth the drive. But the food! THE FOOD! Oh, sooo scrumptious! The lobster/corn chowder! The salmon! The best burger I've ever had! The staff was terrific and the martini was crisp and big enough for some serious tingles. I think I'll just move in - that way, I can have the yummy tapioca pudding whenever I want...
