Best German restaurant in San Antonio area. Compared to the few others, this is tops! Great food, almost like being in Germany. Love it! Pros: excellent food and service Cons: location not so good more

go to all menus to check out their menu- search for bavarian restaurant. ... they chef is from Germany and is all about flavor and authenticity. also he makes authentic homemade cakes! to die for! Pros: Authentic, Fresh and Made to Order more

a great combination of terrible food and unfriendly service. Waitress had a nasty demeanor. The food was late, cold, and tasteless. Its amazing how the service and product can make, or break a business. My advice....change, or close! Pros: it's edible...if your really hungry!! Cons: waste of time & money more

Great Food, Great Prices 10/27/2009

Now under new ownership and the chef is great! Love the food and prices. Very affordable for Lunch and Dinner and the portions are huge for the price. Been to other German restaurants and this is one is the best so far! Pros: Authentic German Food, Flavorful, Pricing, Portions more

Will never return 11/6/2005

The worst service I have ever experienced. It took 15 minutes for the waitress to get a menus. Waitress looked at us like we spoke a foreign language when we asked for extra dressing on our salads. Food was served warm not hot. She never returned to check on us during our meal and the restaurant was not busy. Cons: poor service, poor table settings more
