After visiting several PT and Chiros, I came in with a very bad low back pain due to disk rapture and herniation. Dr. G and his PT team treated me and taught me how to manage my chronic pain. I thought it was chronic, but they helped me to get read of it and maintain healthy life style. Also Dr. G helped my child with headache by adjusting his neck spine. I highly recommend Dr. G for both, adults and children! more

Masters of their craft! 9/16/2013

Alfred Gigante, Simona, and the team at the Backpain center are exceptional. Most of my life i have lived with on/off severe back and neck pain. Looking for relief I have been to many traditional medical doctors and chiropractors. Prescription inflammatory medication was no help. Some chiropractors have had success for periods, Dr Gigante and Simona combining both Chiropractic and Physical Therapy technique has provided the best results for me. This group really has delivered. The range of motion throughout my neck an back is fantastic. I am able to play freely with my children and not suffer if I move the wrong way. I hope you accept my recommendation to visit this team of back pain specialists. Good luck!! more

Back Pain Center has a staff that knows what they are doing.I have not felt this great in a long time. I have a herniated disc. What I love is the stretching, pulling and much more that has been done without MEDICINE!! more

Dr. G diagnosed the problem, same day relief from pain, careful guidance from team to maintain my back. 2/21/2013

My lower back problem was diagnosed accurately, and a multi-treatment approach was used to stop the pain. The entire staff was concerned with getting me pain free. more

I went into the back pain center after having terrible pain in my back and shoulder. Dr. Gigante diagnosed the problem and treated it immediately. After he treated it I felt instant relief. I would highly recommend anyone going here that was having a problem in there back. more

I was so happily surprised at how quickly I got better 12/3/2012

I was convinced my back problem was going to take time to get better since I had the problem for a while. Well I can't tell you how surprised I was to walk out after the first day significantly better. thank you Back Pain Center. more

A Very Good Experience 2/25/2012

A week ago I unable to complete an MRI due to extreme leg pain from sciatica. I happened to find the Back Pain Center while driving to my doctor's office. After a week of physical therapy there, my sciatica pain is reduced by about 80 and I completed the MRI without a problem. For me, the work I've done there has been very effective. more

Amazing team! 2/10/2012

When everyone else told me to accept permanent disability and just address the pain, I came into their office with excruciating pain and a two inch stride and this team offered me recovery. They are talented professionals who are also warm, supportive people, both the treatment staff and the office staff. I'm so glad I found this practice! I can't thank them enough. more

excellent in all respects from day one 1/24/2012

When they say that you get same day relief you really do! I could hardly get out of my car on the first day and after one month of therapy my herniated disc exhibited no pain. The spinal decompression therapy actually works, but the real stars are Eric and Simona who performed my physical therapy. more

February 2011 I injured my back while shoveling and using a snowblower. My entire back went into spasm and it felt as if I was being squeezed by a vice. The pain was excruciating. Dr. Gigante sent me for an MRI which showed 3 herniated and four bulging discs. Within the first few days of treatment I began feeling relief. Today, with a regiment of home exercises and weekly visits to The Back Pain Center, I feel wonderful. I don't know what I would do without them! All of you are awesome and make each session fun! more

Really Good!!! 12/1/2011

Dr. G and his staff are knowledgeable, service oriented and professional. Most chiropratic care that I've had in the past focuses on spinal manipulation without addressing the underlying problem. It helps but doesn't provide lasting results. Through decompression, exercise, manipulation and other techniques specifically targeted to the individual, there is a better outcome. I've been using Dr. G for almost 2 years. more

Excellent! A great alternative to back surgery 11/26/2011

The Back Pain Center is an excellent place to get healthy and stay healthy. About 10 years I hurt my back badly and 2 doctors recommended surgery. I searched for alternatives and found the Back Pain Center. Their holistic approach combining physical therapy and chiropractic treatments made it possible for me to avoid surgery and to stay active (skiing, racquetball, biking, etc.) since then. Their knowledgable and caring staff gets me healthy and back to doing the things I love to do. I can't speak highly enough about the Back Pain Center. more

Professional, targeted treatment with RESULTS. 10/24/2011

A full evaluation & history was done to ensure the safety of all their treatments. The chiropractic treatment and spinal decompression is heaven-sent when in acute pain, and the exercises specific to my issues have been very helpful in reducing frequency & intensity of flare-ups. Friendly and pleasant: when you have their attention you are their ONLY patient. more

Exceptional care from every staff member 6/6/2010

Being a physical therapist, I attempted to treat my neck pain to no avail. Finally, December 26th at 7:00 in the morning I made a decision to contact a chiropractor for help. I tried various phone numbers and left messages. To my surprise when I called The Back Pain Center, Dr G himself answered the phone and had me come in immediately. I have been a steadfast patient ever since. He always has time for me even when I make another one of those last minute phone calls. And most of all he always resolves my pain in a few session. I have also had the need for physical therapy intervention for my shoulder. I was evaluated by one of the physiatrists at the Back Pain Center which is a tremendous convenience. He discussed his finding first hand with the physical therapist, Steve Decker. Steve was instrumental in healing my ailment. I also need to say that each staff member is well qualified, professional, and caring. I have recommended The Back Pain Center to a number of friends who now also continue to be patients. I highly and sincerely recommend Dr Gigante and his staff. more

Compassionate, Professional, and Effective back and neck care 5/24/2010

I had considerable pain when I was referred to the Back Pain Center. Starting wtih my first visit, Dr. "G" and his team assessed my condition and got me started on a plan to help me. They had great compassion for me and treated me with respect. The physical therapists, Steve, Simona, and Eric, took the time to know me and my specific situation. They tailor each session to my current condition and watch me like hawks to be sure everything is right. Once we got the results of the MRI and X-rays of my back and neck, I asked how it would change the treatment. Steve said it would not change anything - it confirmed what they knew the first day I walked in. I have dramatically improved thanks to their care. They have provided me with relief from pain and training for how to continuously improve. This is a very unique place and I am ever grateful for their help. more
