Best

This is the place with a good taste of food. The ambiance is cool, the service is fast and the servers were friendly and overall all it was great.

Worst

All my friend and I wanted (we are both Chicago natives) was to do two things: enjoy the weather at a cefe we've seen but never been to, and have something to drink (after all it ...

Loved it. 6/7/2011

We had a pleasant lunch here on Labor Day. The inside is such a throwback to a 50s dining restaurant. Loved it. Food was good. more

It didn't disappoint 6/3/2011

The food was pretty good. I saw the grilled cheese sandwich highly recommended, so I ordered that, despite the fact that normally I would never have ordered a grilled cheese at a restaurant. It didn't disappoint. more

very friendly and helpful 6/1/2011

Our server was very friendly and helpful, and we didn't have any issues with the time our meal took to get there or with the order itself. more

cool place to go 5/17/2011

This was just a kind of cool place to go, especially after seeing a show as part of the cast usually shows up here. The price is steep for what you get, but everything in Chicago is. more

the dessert selection was pretty awesome 4/27/2011

The inside is such a throwback to a 50s dining restaurant. Loved it. Food was good - I had a club called some British aristocratic name: Wellington? Huntington? Anyways...it was tasty. My bf had a similar sandwich on a croissant, which he said was also good. They have an impressive drink menu, and the dessert selection was pretty awesome. more

super cake was fantastic!!! 4/19/2011

i remember being a kid, and begging my folks to take me here as we walked by. my daughter and i were in the area over the labor day weekend, and we were hungry. i had a ruben, and she had cheese ravioli. it may have been the best ruben i've ever had, and the ravioli was good too. the manager lady (female archie bunker?) was friendly. it was kinda late 8:30pm, but the service was friendly. we'll be back. as for the price, c'mon it's chicago! eating in any city is expensive! ps-super cake was fantastic!!! more

it's nice 4/13/2011

Grab some calories after seeing an awesome movie at the Fine Arts Theater nextdoor, or hearing a great concert at the Auditorium Theatre around the corner, or wearing yourself out walking around fantastic Millennium Park. I've got to admit, it's nice to replace that fat I just lost with a milkshake after rocking out. more

I'm not sure if I've ever had better bacon 4/12/2011

Stopped in for a chocolate shake when the sun finally came out some time in March. This morning I was really hungry and in the Loop, so I decided to go back and try their breakfast. I'm very picky and easily ticked off in the AM if I haven't eaten yet. I want my food now and just like I ordered it. Amick, very mellow & friendly dude, was my server. I'm not sure if I've ever had better bacon, well done & it didn't crumble into million pieces. My over easy eggs were just that, not to runny or to hard. The toast was dark, but not burnt & it came with that kind of jelly in the round hard containers you always get in the ""fancy"" hotels in Europe. Sweet! The hash browns were perfect, not greasy & hot all the way through without killing the top layer.I'm really happy that I went back, I have a place to eat breakfast for the next month or so while I'm down in the Loop. I'll b the one with the chocolate shake with my perfect bacon. more

I had a FANTASTIC grilled cheese with homemade hotchips 4/5/2011
