Thanh-Thanh Vietnamese Restaurant

The owner of this restaurant is the most greediest people to do business with. We just got married and had our wedding reception here. We figured...since we kind of know them they wouldn't screw us over so we didn't get EVERYTHING in writing...our fault on that part but we tell you...we get nothing but empty promises from these people. They charge and over charge people for everything! \r \r As far as the food...the food here use to be really good when they had other competitors but now it SUCKS!\r \r If you ever get marry...we highly suggest you book it with someone else and NOT Thanh Thanh...they will over charge you and cheat you for your every penny. \r \r We heard rumors and stories from people who had their wedding here in the past before but didn't listen to them because we thought it'll never happen to us but it was true.\r \r It's our once in a lifetime experience and Thanh Thanh Restaurant owner just ruined it for us but THANK GOD we have loving family and friends for their OUTSTANDING support in making it a night we will never forget!! \r \r We don't think Thanh Thanh Restaurant would treat their clients/customers this way if they had other competitors around Arlington.. I am a fan of vietnamese food and I moved to Fort Worth three years ago. I have been trying different places and this one is by far the best when it comes to food and the place. This restaurant is huge, and very nice unlike the popular vietnamese places. It has an attached tea store and a nice garden on the outside. I must say the prices affordable for the quality of food that you are getting. Vermicelli bowls go from 6.50 while some extremly tender beef dishes can go as high as 12. What sets Thanh Thanh apart from other Vietnamese restaurants in our area is the varied menu and the clean semi-elegant atmosphere of restaurant. My wife and I try to get over to Thanh Thanh at least once a week for their ""7 Courses of Beef"". This seems to be a favorite of other diners as well judging from what we see people eating. Thanh Thanh also has good service (seems like someone has been training the wait staff). \r \r The only negative that we have experienced is getting all the way over there only to find that they are having a large private party. So I would recommend calling ahead - that's what we do now. Pros: Great food, good service, clean Cons: large wedding parties crowd out individual diners on some weekends more
