Overpriced, and so not worth it. Average food. Greasy pad thai. Next time going back to Thai Cuisine... too bad they're not on GrubHub :(

The food was good, but some of the dishes were pretty pricey. As long as your tastes don't betray you though you can get away with spending a reasonable amount. I wouldn't order delivery from here though STRICTLY BECAUSE OF MEALS DELIVERED. The delivery guy completely disregarded the number I told them to call in the "Special Instructions" and called my work number for 15mins waiting in my neighbors house across the street. He didn't actually come over until I came outside looking to see if I could see him nearby. He showed me the text he got with all the information and the number with clear instructions to call it was sitting right there. Can't blame the restaurant for this of course, but if you want to enjoy the food I'd suggest you pick it up. more

Although the food was tasty, I was very disappointed: only a half a container of rice, no dipping sauce for the spring rolls, half a container for the Mussaman, no utensils. For the high price I paid for this order, I have to say I won't order from them again. more

Food was better than a lot of takeout but not as inexpensive as most places and if I was rating on food alone I would have given it a 5. Also, it took an extraordinary long time to deliver (close to an hour and a half) and things weren't as warm as they should have been. When you throw in the extra $6.00 delivery charge it makes you wonder about the value. more

The Pad Thai was flavorless and gummy, I can't speak to anything else they make, but that's my favorite Asian dish and I couldn't finish theirs, it was so bad. more

Awesome food! Always great quality. Sometime a little slow on the delivery. Just order and plan to wait a little longer. Other than than, delicious every time! more

Great inexpensive Thai 3/20/2008

This place has yet to disappoint, and I eat there frequently. I love their chicken pad thai. The only complaint I have ever heard is from my father, who ordered a 10 on spice and said it really wasn't the spiciest thing he's ever had. I definitely recommend going for the lunch special. Cheap, quick, quality food! more

great fo a lunch 7/5/2007

This is my first time message, but I just have to share! I just went for lunch to this restaurant and LOVED it! The service was prompt and professional (I was served by Nick) and the food delish! I was seated quickly and my food was out within five minutes of ordering. Nick, the host/server was so attentive and professional I felt like I was being served in a four star restarant. The food was very tastey and a good portion. They allow you to specify your order in a 10 point scale of how much spice you want in your food, which to me was great. I had the pad thai which was done to perfection and the chicken so tender, yum! This is a great place to go for lunch and then linger around Walnut for an after lunch walk. The only prob: parking. I parked a few blocks away on a side street to save on parking money. I didn't feel this was a big problem however as long as you have the time :) Pros: service, cleanliness, promptness Cons: parking, no AC more

it's okay 6/10/2006

wanted to find something spicy and light. ended up at thai place. nice decor, prompt service. the food was ordinary. nothing to write home about. wished previous reviews were more honest and exact. had the crispy duck salad. it was lacking something, maybe it was flavor? the pad thai was good though. i would come back b/c it was an oasis in the middle of walnut. Pros: no parking more

New location, much nicer. Still great food 3/9/2005

Probably best Thai in Pittsburgh (is that like saying best sushi in Nebraska?) but the food is great. Newer location (around the corner from old) is a little darker, but more updated, cleaner, and fresh. For ambience, may want to think about somewhere else. For food, can't miss. more

Find another place to go! 8/16/2004

Went to Thai Place after Girasoles was closed and was very disappointed in both the service and the food. We waited a very long time for our food and were ignored for over 30 minutes while everyone around us was served. When the food did arrive, it was cold. Would not go back or recommend to anyone. more
