Best

By far my favorite Thai restaurant. I just moved out of Provo and I literally dream of the food. Everytime I make it back out there I HAVE to go visit! So yummy! mmm...

Worst

Used to be very good. The quality of the food has been sliding over the past couple of years. There are a couple of newer Thai resturants in the Provo-Orem area that are better.

WORST. RESTAURANT. EVER. 1/7/2012

We sat here for 2 hours before our food came out. There were only 3 other tables sat. We had to sit ourselves. We had to ask for menus. We had to ask to order (after 30 min of trying to get their attention). The atmosphere was disgusting. The 'waiters' ignored us almost COMPLETELY. The one 'cook' that was there was angry and didn't know the correct pricing according to the menu and insisted we pay a higher price for something we ordered. The food was mediocre and even WORSE after having to wait 2 hours for it. One friend was told they were out of sticky rice..so she went with regular rice. When her meal came out they said ""we found some sticky rice"" that was in a ziplock baggie and CRUNCHY. She cut her rice with a knife, people! This was HORRIFYING. Please do yourself a favor and don't eat here. If I end up with food poisoning I'll be back to update my review. more

You want real authentic and great food! 2/24/2010

You don't find too many good Thai food places in Provo, but I definitely struck gold here. I love Thai food and have been craving a good place for a while. Thai Kitchen in Provo provides authentic food at a good cost and with great service. Every time I got to Provo from now on I will be sure to pop in and get some of their pad thai. Everything on the menu though is great! Pros: Great authentic taste! Cons: Didnt find much! more

RM Looking for Good Food 2/21/2010

For all those RM looking for some amazing thai food this is the place. I have been around and tried other places around provo and the food is good. Well as good as it gets for the good old USA. Nothing like Authentic Thai with a little hair in it! The curry is great and the pad gra pow is fantastic! Thanks Thai Kitchen!!! Pros: Best Thai Around! Cons: Above Average Environment more

Horrible Thai food 4/14/2009

I was really hoping to have a good experience at Thai Kitchen. I absolutely loooove thai food and the whole time at BYU, I was craving some of that flavorful goodness. Unfortunately, I picked the worse place to go. I only ordered pad thai and the lady quoted me at 30 minutes. I thought...alright, maybe they're busy. I go in half an hour later and not only does she tell me to wait another 20 minutes, but I look around and there's 1 table! I am so puzzled at this point. I've worked at many restaurants and parent's even own one, so I usually know how they work. I was so dumbfounded. I finally stuck it out and got my food and it was in a tiny box that was not worth 8.95 and it didn't even taste like pad thai. It tasted like the pad thai mix you get at the store and they dumped noodles and chicken in it and to make it taste more authentic, smothered it with peanuts. I'm never one to complain about food or service, but I HAD to warn those who are thai food connoisseurs such as myself. I'm sorry Thai Kitchen, it's just not worth going back. I would have been your best customer. Cons: Bad service, bad price, bad food more

Not worth the price 12/17/2008

I ordered a $8.50 dish, but it wasn't even worth that much. It was worth about $4.00. Plus, it didn't even fill me. I went somewhere else afterwards and got a real filling meal for just under $5.00. This place is not worth your time nor money. Leave it for the dogs. Pros: Nice waitress Cons: Parking, Food, Time, Cost more

This is not even a good restaurant. 7/21/2003

I've been reading about this restaurant in many publications, and they all say it is great. You guys really have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to Thai food. First of all, having the picture of king and queen of Thailnd on the wall can not change the fact that this is still a laos restaurant. They have no idea how to cook curry, satay, or any basic stir fried dish like pad ga prow. I've been in many cities in the US and this is by far the worst so call Thai i've been to. Bad suggesion. Pros: cheerful server Cons: poor quality food, you get what you pay more

Surprisingly good 1/21/2003

Very small with a small menu but what they do they do well. It is one of Provo's Best places, (Bombay House in Provo is also good, Maybe better than the one in Salt Lake) The other Thai places in Provo are not worth wasting your money at. The Ruby Thai admitted that they didn't know how to make curries well. Pros: good food Cons: small selection more

Home cooked 10/10/2002

My father has lived in Thailand for a number of years and said that this is as authentic as it gets in the US. After saying that, if you know what to order, it is a great place for the first timer. I recommend the pad thai, my husbands favorite. Pros: food, friendly people Cons: parking, tight dining area more

Good Eats 8/14/2002

Great place to try Thai for the first time. I recommend the yellow curry for first time guests or people who can't handle spicy food. Also the ice cream with rice is odd sounding but wonderful tasting. more
