Texas Tile House

I live in Pennsylvania and have been trying to locate a specific tile for months. I was so used to being let down by local tile companies, including ones owned by friends, I had almost given up. Through an internet search, I ended up with the name of The Texas Tile house. Rod and Christine couldn't have been more accomodating and get an A++++ for their great customer service. In a week and a half I received a sample box of the tiles that a local distributor took 4 weeks to tell me was unavailable. Clearly it was available, not to mention how quickly. The tile arrived on the day I was told, was packaged perfectly and in great shape. I also received a prompt quote on the cost of the 1,000 sq. ft. of tile needed for the job. Both cost of tile and shipping from Texas to PA were reasonable and competitive. Kudos to Rod & Christine at the Texas Tile House for knowing how to work pleasantly and effectively with customers. My wife and i started our tile venture walking into Texas Tile House's beautiful showroom and was greeted by a wonderful sales girl by the name of Christina. She was wonderful and could have closed a $2200.00 sale if she would have asked. Fortunately for us she did not. She made an appointment for Jimmy, their Sales and Service guy, to meet me at my home by 8:30 am one morning. Never to show. Not even a courtesy call to my cell with an explanation. The next call i got several days later from Christina was asking for a new appointment. I told her the only way i would set a new appointment with Jimmy was to get an apology for him not showing up on time the previous appointment. Fortunately a week later the apology never came. I got the same job with the same tile done today for $400.00 less. And this was only 316 sq ft. A small job. more

These guys are not the least expensive, but their work is excellent. Our shower looks like a work of art. Yancy was attentive and responsive to our concerns, and other employees were helpful in selecting tile and design. We are looking forward to working with them again in the near future.
