Texas T-Bone

HOLY CRAP a 28oz Porterhouse!!! It was HUGE and oh so tasty. Resturaunt was busy which was a good sign but our party of 5 got right in and got seated. Tried the new shrimp appetizer and it was AWESOME! well worth trying it out even if you don't love shrimp. Everyone at the table got ""custom"" salads with exactly what we wanted in them and the Salads were HUGE! Then the meal came WOW that was a big steak and cooked perfectly. My wife got the Pork tenderloin, she's an Iowa native so it brought her back home. I dont know what everyone else got but I know there was one vegitarian at the table and she was very pleased with her meal. Now for the really good part, they are opening a new place up by my house, WOO HOO. This is gonna be one of my new regular places now that it is closer to home. When you walk into this establishment you are treated like family. My husband and I frequent the Texas T-Bone and the management rush over to greet us and even offer us quarters to try to win our girls a stuffed animal from their prize grabber machine. Our food is always cooked to perfection, the peanuts at the table are great, they make mean margharita and the staff truly care about your experience and want you to come back. This was my second experience at the T-Bone. my first was years ago and I had moved to Greeley. I am back in town and wanted a good steak and I did not want to wait in line for 1 hour in order to get a good steak. I went to this place because its close enough to my house and I have had a good experience there. I am happy to report that they still really know how to cook a steak my style. I had a HUGE porterhouse with some steamed veggies a salad and a beer. Everything was cooked to perfection. when the waitress brought my meal to the table it really made me say wow. My wife had some sort of chicken plate, with a baked potato and a ceasar salad, it looked really good, I cant remember the name of the plate but I would definitely get it if I happened to be in the mood for chicken. Having waited on tables and eaten at various restaurants at several different times of day, we are quite aware of the busy hours and expect at moments to not be the center of attention. We also understand that there are times when an order is mixed up or does not quite measure up to one's expectations.
