Texas Shine Auto Detailing

Texas Detail didn't honor my Living Social Deal. They made the appointment (over 6 weeks out), said they were coming when I checked the day of the appointment, then canceled over an hour past the appointment time. They wouldn't return calls until 2 weeks later when I didn't leave name. They would not honor it (past expired date - they are the ones that made it there with full knowledge of the time issue when I called the first time) and told me to call LivingSocial and get a refund. Living Social made an exception and honored it and I purchased today's deal of same service with ATX Mobile Detailing. I am not impressed with Texas Detail.... AJ is the manage I spoke with and he clearly stated they were not going to honor it... be leery as they don't keep their commitments. There are lots of other choices for similar... I would suggest using someone else. more

I have used this service for both my husband's car and my truck. I spend a lot of time in my car commuting to different job sites and I never really realized how much the condition of one's car can effect one's morale. After Texas Shine got through with my truck it really felt new again to me. It smelled good and looked great and I really started to enjoy driving again. I found the service incredibly convenient and courteous. The owner personally booked out appointment at a time that was best for our schedule, and he oversaw the detailing himself. I was just ecstatic at the outcome! Getting our vehicles detailed was mine and my husbands compromise in lieu of trading them in for new cars - so the detailing not only helped our driving experience, but, our pocketbooks too!! The owner just started this new Green Wash option, where he will actually come to our home and wash our car once or twice per month. I am so excited about it. My mother-in-law's white Lincoln was trashed. There was mold on the outside, leaves and debris in the motor and I thought the upolstery needed to be replaced. After they took the car, laughing the whole time about how dirty it was, they took their time and made the car look brand new. \r \r The coffee stains are gone, the motor looks brand new, the leather is cream colored again, and the wheels are all shiny! I would highly, highly, highly recommend them to anyone. Pros: everything. Cons: took several days, but I'm sure it's because of the state the car was in and not anything else. more
