Have been wanting to try a Brazilian style steakhouse for awhile. On our recent trip to Orlando searched for a nice restaurant to go to for a nice meal. Made reservations online and got a nice 25% off coupon. A little hard to find but worth it. The salad bar was outstanding. Was hard to refrain from taking more, but knew we had to leave room for the main course. Nice atmosphere. Meat was delicious! Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended. more

I ate here in April of 2008 while vacationing in Orlando and this restaurant was suggested to us by our TIme Share agent....who was Brazilian. We loved the atmosphere, the service was great, we never had to wait for anything! The only thing that I wasn't too crazy about were the sides. There were alot of ""different"" items. Not too many appealed to me. The only thing I remembered eating was the Lobster Bisque (amazing), and the bread! My husband and I are HUGE meat lovers!!! So all the variety was awesome, and they were delicous! more

I have been eating at Texas de Brazil since 1999, it is one of the best restaurants. The salad buffet is super. The meat is excellent. Unfortunately over the last 3-4 years I have noticed a marked drop in the quality of their service. In the early years they used to have several waiters per table and everything was impeccable. Sadly, this is no longer the case. Now your glass stays empty until you ask for a refill. Your plate stays unclean until you ask for a fresh plate. Many times you have to wait for a waiter to show up for proper service. The Gauchos don't even check on you often enough. You don't get served all the meat cuts as before and you have to ask for them and then have to wait forever to get it. Worse of all the quality of the Managers has gone down hill remarkably and that might explain the deterioration in the service. In the early years they had supper friendly and caring managers who were dedicated to their customers. They greeted everyone at their tables. Always gave out discount coupons as a friendly gesture. The latter years the managers will argue about obvious and blatant mistakes they made on the bill. They charge a full price to everyone on the table including kids so they can inflate the gratuity. Then they deduct the kids amount and all the coupons at the end. Food is always the best but the new management leaves a lot to be desired more

my boyfriend and i just recently visited texas de brazil...and let me tell you, we will be back! we were welcomed into the restuarant by the hostess (who opened the door for us) and their radiant smiles. since it was a busy night, we did wait about 10 minutes...not bad for such a popular place. the servers were very kind and made sure our visit was great. loved the salad area, and the meat was delicious!! one of the managers stopped by our table to make sure everything was to our liking. the gauchos work very hard to make sure everybody gets a chance to have a taste of the various meat selections. for the 46.99 price it was well worth it, defineatley signing up to reieve coupons because we will be back!!!!! more

Recently I went to Texas de Brazil in Orlando with my wife and we had an amazing dinning experience. All the meats were amazing, the salad bar is huge and with many options. I needed a wheel chair to go to my car... that's how full I was. By the way I need another stomach! :) too much food. Will be back for the next family party. more

Tuesday aferternoon I was having dinner at Texas De Brazil on Orlando it was amazing dinning expirience, not only was the gauchos very attended but also all the staff.The atmosphere in the restaurant was great and the salad area is very fresh and teasty. Last night was one of the most spectacular nights ever in my life. Last night I propsed to my girlfriend, now my fiance, due to large in part the assistance of the general manager of Texas De Brazil. He made the night so special. He found us a great table, in a quiet corner, warm and inviting. As I courage to ask my girlfriend to marry me, they were on point for bringing out the champagne to my table and made me more comfortable and confident in asking her. I would like to thank the management team for making this a night unforgetable and superb. Can't wait to celebrate many future anniversaries here. more

I've tried many different Brazilian restaurants in my travels but Texas de Brazil always comes on top in its quality, service and ambiance. The staff is very attentive and the buffet, salad, and cheese selection is worth the trip in itself, and the meats. Ahh the meats!!! are juicy and delicious and they keep coming to your table until you say no more.The House specialty is my favorite but the other meats are amazing too. Overall always a great experience. more

I paid $46.99 and got tough filet mignon served by a rude sweaty guy who stared at my girlfriend's boobs. I don't care about the money and didn't complain because my girl gets embarrassed. When I went to the bathroom before i left i almost puked. There was toilet paper everywhere and it smelled really bad. You can always tell how nice a place is by the bathroom, this place is shitty. I came on a Friday night and my reservation was ""running a little behind"" according to the hostess. I went to the bar and waited while the bartender flirted with some servers, never did get a drink and got seated about 10 minutes late for my res. The meat servers walked by our table and never even batted an eye until I yelled 'hey!'. I asked for a manager from our server who tried to ask us what the problem was. I said I wanted to talk to a manager, he said ""you are getting meats now, right?"". He then asked me if I would like a glass of wine on the house. I said no, please get me your manager. He went over to a gentleman, very tall with gray hair and talked to him for a second. The man came over very quickly and said, rudely, ""what can I do for you?"" I told him the meat servers were ignoring us. His response ""You have to understand, sir, we are very busy."" This infuriated me and I told him we were leaving. We paid our bill and left. The server was Jonathan and the manager was named Oscar, apparently the same man on here many times. Not very customer-service oriented, he tried to intimidate me. more

I heard about this restaurant from a client. I live near sarasota FL so I waited until my next visit to orlando. Not only did I love it but my husband does too. We've been there three times now and have a reservation for this week. Can't wait. Everything about this place is awesome, the decor, wait staff and of course the food. oh and don't forget to order a capparinna(not sure if i spelled it right, it's their signature drink) Not sure what happened when the reviewers who gave two stars, but I've never had a bad experience, u know what they say u can't please everyone, but after reading the majority of these, u can see this place is worth a try! We eat there a couple times a year, once for sure using my free birthday coupon from registering on the website. The servers are all great. Bart, one of the managers came around to everyone's table to make sure things were prefect. For once we moderated a bit and did not groan about how full we were on the way home. Whenever you leave the table, your napkin is folded on your return. Texas de Brazil is better than any rodizios I experienced in Brazil! MY HUSBAND, I & ANOTHER COUPLE WENT AND WE HAD THE LUNCH BUFFET....OUR SERVER ARTHUR WAS FANTASTIC ALONG WITH ALL OF THE OTHER WAITERS AND GAUCHOS SERVING THE MEAT....IT WAS A VERY RELAXING TIME AND THEY DID NOT PUSH US OUT.... My huband, kids and myself went to Texas de Brazil 3 times in 2009. We live about 2 hours away, so we made a theme park + resturant trip each time. Always satisfied with the food and service. Prices are expensive, but you can sign up on their site and get coupons. Kids eat free and with the coupon, you get 1 free entre. After drinks and tips its about $100 for my family of 4 to eat here. Great bargain and DELICIOUS food. I've never delt with management and have never had any problems with reservations be 'cancelled'. Try this place out... Delicious! We will be going back in May 2010. it was horrible. both managers, bart and oscar were not just horrible managers, but horrible people. The server ashley was terrible, my whole experience was the worst I have ever had in Orlando. They ruined my husbands birthday and I left the restaurant in tears. The server was complaining about our table to the other servers, right in earshot of us. Our bill was $550.00, and because there was 7 of us and we were a bit needy she couldnt handle it. She actually had to do a little work for the automatic 18% grat she got, but didn't deserve.
