I worked for this place for a about three weeks and was trained to tell people that if they were to apply for financing that the so called bank ( which is the owner, texas best financing, the financing side of Texas best) charges 25-45% on top of the price due to a bank fee to do the deal... This is a complete crock of shit.. Not only do they squeeze thousands of dollars out of you while you are going thru tough times adding false fees to the price , they additionally charge you 26% interest on top of the fee...what this means is that they are not only making profit on the car but they are marking the price up due to a false illegal fees and making interest on those false fees as well at a 26 % rate... They are taking advantage of people who have problems with getting on their feet and it's because of scum like this that people cannot get ahead... Not only this , I was not paid for the work that I did at the job and was promised that it would be paid which I have blatant proof in texts and never was.. The owner claimed that I needed to go and call 60 minutes.. Everything you have read in these previous post are absolutely true... And unfortunately the lady at the front is in on it all and does what she is told no matter if it is right or wrong... They all know I worked 20 days straight with the exception of Sundays including working New Year's Day all day and didn't receive pay for it including other days... I was told that he didn't have to pay me shit... And to go call 60 minutes... If you buy a car here you will regret it...I couldn't sit back and watch them screw people over and lie out there teeth while knowing these people have a rough life and just simply need a good deal to get a car to get ahead.. It's hard for people to get ahead when companies do things like this to customers and don't pay employees.. Watch who you do business with and always read a dealer rater...9 bad reviews out of 13 and one was his sister and the others I'm sure some were false to get good reviews.... I had trouble selling vehicles due to these reviews as well.. The owner is only hurting himself and will be paid back with karma.. It is a bitch... Word of mouth is the best advertising and this place will crumble if it keeps doing business in this way.. I didn't want things to come to this but I will fight for my rights to be paid for my hard work and also fight for innocent people that work hard for their money and have to be lied too and tricked into a false loan.. If the finance company charged 25-45% then ask the dealer to prove it on paper.. If you ask them to show you proof on a legal document they will simply not sell you a car PERIOD.... I will never get my rightfully earned money and for that fact I will forever fight to make sure this place never screws over a person again... And I might just call 60 minutes like the owner would like and they will never know if a secret shopper might arrive..I suggest they lawfully abide by regulations and do the right thing, it always pays off in the end.... You cannot charge a customer a fee to get financed... Only interest on the collateral... A bank can charge a fee to the dealer but should never come out of customer pocket... These fees are not 250 bucks, they are 2,3 and sometimes 4 to 5 grand on top of the price... If you need a loan that bad call STADIUM AUTO they will get you approved with 4 grand down and not raise prices falsely.. The price of the car on the contract should be the price.. Any other fees should be disclosed on a separate line in addition and this is not practiced at this particular dealer, which is wrong and stealing... If they would have paid me my rightfully earned money I would have just walked away.. more

2 words. Scam Artists. Let me tell you all a little about these crooks... I'm trying to think just now if anything they said to me was the truth. The owner Jamie and his father are the classic examples of the untrustworthy used car salesman. Then the whole family owned christian thing. Give us a break! What a joke! I really don't know how these bottom feeders sleep at night. Well actually the old man Rick, he sleeps there at the dealership in a camper in the back. Lol!! I don't even know where to start... The internet ad had all kinds of false info. They pencil-pushed us on the contract. (You will need a lawyer and an accountant. Remember these devils are tricky.) The car seemed fine until all hell broke loose. The electrical, seats, driver seat, radio, speakers, transmission, tail lights, head lights, fog lights, shocks, struts, breaks, ac, heater, windows, hood release switch, door insulation..... So much for the 72 point inspection. There is more I'm just sick of wasting even more time with this place. I'll tell you what, if your looking to get screwed go see anyone at this place except the poor lady that has to take payments and calls for these dirtbags. more

An AMAZING experience! 5/15/2011

I always considering buying a car to be such a hassle, burdened by a bunch of broken promises, and stacks of paperwork; however, that was definitely not the case when I bought my 2001 Honda Civic a couple of months ago. The staff at Texas Best were extremely considerate of my needs, and especially my financial limits. They were genuine, and followed through with even the smallest details. I would highly recommend anyone interested in trading their car in, or looking to get into a new one, to visit these guys for sure! more
