Tesar's Modern Steak & Seafood

8 of us girls went out on the town. We'd heard the Burger Bar at Tesars was great. We made reservations for 8 o'clock. Got there and our table was not ready. They said 15 minutes. We waited. Nothing. Blamed it on the party before us - actually said it was not their fault if people stayed four hours. The owner was obviously nine sheets to wind an flirting with all of us. At 8:45 a table opened up in main dining room but they would not allow us to get the burgers in there. Finallly sat down at 9:20. No waiter by 9:30. Told hostess we needed a waiter. 9:40 still no one came to the table. Enough was enough so we left. Pros: Nice place Cons: Very disorganized more

We have eaten ther 4 times now great food great service. The wait staff is a little green,but getting better everytime we go.Give them a second chance if you have had a bad service experience as they have had there growing pains , but getting better, the food is worth it. We had the best meal one night we found this great new restaurant on Six Pines and Lake Robbins Drive. We have been back and the food is amazing they have just hired a New GM and the service issues have seemed to have disapeared. We really enjoy this place for a casual dinner of amazing hamburgers or a special night out for some great seafood and steaks. The raw oyster selection is one of the best in Texas and the wine service is top notch ! Pros: Best Steaks, best Burgers and excellent seafood more

I read a review of Tesars and wanted to take my family there for a special occasion. Our order was taken and then lost, so it had to be taken again but was incorrect. An order was placed for another bottle of wine that was not received but I was charged for anyway. After the food was served no one came to check that everything was okay so I had to get my own napkin from another table and pour the wine from the bottle located several tables down. The burger I was served was cold when I tased it. I spoke with our server who was argumentative so I requested to speak to the manager. The manager stated she would remove the burgers and a bottle of wine from the bill. The bill was still incorrect and the owner came over to handle the situation. The owner was the only person who cared to try to make the unpleasant situation better. The others persons in my party stated the food was excellent though. I would not know. The food is exceptioanal, from the oyster bar to the buger bar amazing ! I would recomend the drive from the city to the Woodlands anytime. The food is some of the best in Texas from fine dining to gourment comfort food! Pros: great seafood steaks and gourmet burgers Cons: none more
