Laurie is very well respected in her field. 5/31/2007

I am an acupuncturist in the East Bay and I send all of my SF referrals to Laurie. Not only does she have great social skills but she is extremely knowledgeable and effective with her acupuncture treatments. She also works with a lot of MDs and has an integrated approach - as a referring doctor, this makes me feel very comfortable and safe knowing that she has these connections - she will not steer her patients wrong and has the professional relationships to refer when necessary. Overall, she is an excellent choice for your health care needs. \r Pros: Extremely skilled and effective more

I am so relaxed.... 9/29/2006

I started seeing Laurie a few months ago for HIGH stress and anxiety. I've had acupuncture before but am still a little scared of the needles. No need to be - she was very gentle and let me know everything she was doing. She took time to talk to me about what she felt on my wrist pulse and saw on my tongue (I never knew the tip of my tongue was so red!) in language I could understand. I have been taking herbs and supplements she suggested and with my acupuncture sessions, I have never felt better. My sleep is much more sound, my energy is up, and I'm not a rolled up ball of anxiety anymore. more

Addicted to Acupuncture! 3/12/2006

When I started seeing Laurie I had been experiencing increasing fatigue for several months and I had found no answers from several doctors I had gone to prior. Within a period of weeks, I regained my normal energy. With Laurie's incredible knowledge of Chinese medicine and acupuncture I have not only regained my health, but am much healthier than before the initial problem. I have also had considerably fewer colds and allergies due to the work she has done with my immune system, as well as hleping me heal tendonitis (and.. for you women,--regulating menstral cramps- Yes!). For anyone who's had doubts about trying acupuncture, Laurie Terzo is the person for you! I never thought I'd look forward to an acupuncture appointment?! more

She's great! 2/21/2006

After two years of trying to get pregnant and going through multiple tests and procedures and disappointments, I found Laurie. I am now 27 weeks along! She has helped me the whole way with her acupuncture treatments and knowledge. She helped us to get pregnant, helped my nausea, helped my energy level - and now she's helping my back pain. She's great! more

Laurie is the Best! 1/18/2006

laurie is an extremely talented and adept acupuncturist. i've have been seeing laurie for years and i sincerely believe one of the most amazing things about laurie, is her ability to be present with you completely from the moment you step into her office. it is a small sanctuary tucked in middle of the hussle and bussle of the city, and you leave her office elated, connected and closer to perfect health. Pros: flexible, attentive, friendly more

I love my acupuncture! 12/14/2005

I had almost daily headaches/migraines for the past 15 years and have tried every medication there is - they either didn't work, didn't work for long or made me feel like crap. I finally was referred to Laurie by a colleague and am ecstatic. After six months of treatment, I have not had a migraine for three months and only now have occasional headaches. She went through my whole health history and made suggestions as to which foods to avoid and which supplements would be best to take and gave me some bitter tasting herbs (sorry Laurie!). I was very needle phobic before going to her but she is very gentle and now I love my acupuncture! I walk out of her office on cloud nine. Pros: knowledgeable, serene atmosphere, convenient-BART/park more

great for repetitive stress injuries 11/16/2005

I play the acoustic bass. It is a physically demanding instrument. I was having tendon problems in my forearms due to repetitive stress. Laurie's treatment was very effective with only a few visits. She combined acupuncture with tui na and acupressure. Highly recommended. more
