Terri's Consign & Design

Absolutely stay away from this place. I can't understand why she hasn't been charged with fraud. I am in receipt of paperwork from the bankruptcy court dated 2/23/12 and received 5/4/12 listing pages and pages of customers that got ripped off from the last iteration of this 'business' (over $3500 myself). Millions of dollars that will not be paid off and hundreds of customers that will not receive a dime (or their furniture back). Why the AG is not looking into this new 'business' is beyond me. One star is too many. more

There is not a low enough score for Terri's. Absolute thieves. We consigned an expensive bedroom suite and it sold within our contract time-frame. Never received our payment check - kept calling and was told each time that they needed to "pull up our contract and call us back" or that our check "would be sent out the beginning of next week". Not only did we never receive our payment, Terri's filed bankruptcy (again) all while continuing to keep their stores open. Stolen goods. more

I have sold a few my old things in this store and had no problem selling them or receiving the money from the sale. Not only do I sell my items here, I also love shopping here! It's a huge store with lots to look through. more

Terri's Consign & Design is the place to go if you want excellent service and to find treasures and fantastic furniture buys that you will NEVER find in any retail or other consignment store. My shopping experience was fun and I could also check out other stores of Terri's on facebook, the galleries were fabulous. What fun. more

I have many items consigned in this store, many of my items sold real fast and I got my money soon after then too. This store is so huge and they have so many things to look at and purchase, I enjoy shopping in this store. The staff is wonderful and very helpful to work with. I've now been to all three of there store's and they all have wonderful and different things for me look at and buy. more

They took our furniture on consignment the end of April 09 before we moved out of state and it was really high end furniture. So far we received a check for $36 and a letter apologizing and that business was bad and to please refer people to them for consignment purposes. Are they out of their mind??? My consigment began in June, over $3K worth of furniture before their exhorbitant 'commission' and have not even received a penny. Just a bunch of double-talk and now no talk as there is no corporate office. They have sold much if not all of my furniture already and still continue to 'try' to do business! I hope that bi!@# needs to file a Chapter 7-I'd be glad to assist in that endeavor. Pleae contact me if interested in starting a Class Action-let's do something about this charlatan! If your system would allow it I would have given her a negative score. I have been, as have many others, waiting for payment since April. Terris and her staff simply ignore the complaints and the demand for payments that were promised. She claims she has fallen on hard times; who hasn't but we still have to meet our obligations. Check out all the claptrap on her web site about her generosity, her awards, her business acumen and then check out the blogs and other posts to see that she has scamed hundreds, if not thousands, of people. This is for the whole Terri's company. I consigned a piece of furniture on 5-5-09 and it sold on 5-7-09. It is now 8-26-09 and I have yet to be paid. When you call the store you get a run around and the "corporate office" is not available, you cannot leave a voicemail and the email address they give it junk. This is the worst business that I have run into and they STEAL from you. Do NOT consign with them, do NOT buy from them. They need to go out of business. I just gave them 1 star to give them something - I actually would give them a NEGATIVE star if that was an option!! I just moved from Scottsdale, AZ to CA. I paid $ 88 dollars for Terri's to come pick up several nice pieces of furniture to sell. They are supposed to cut a check at the end of every month and send you your amount. I sold some items in MAY!!!! It is now July 27th!!! STILL NO CHECK!!!! You have to communicate with them via email - NO PHONE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! - they just keep saying the check is in the mail!?!???? I HIGHLY SUGGEST DONATING TO GOODWILL OR SOME OTHER CHARITY and writing off the donation on your taxes. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE HASSLE TO USE TERRI'S CONSIGNMENT!!! I wish I had read these reviews before doing business with Terri's!!! See this person's email below - I am also filing a complaint with consumer affairs and will take them to small claims court!!
