I went to California in June, and while there I started itching. We were gone 2 weeks and the itching became worse. Then I started getting the chills. I had no rash and I do not have allergies. It was waking me up all night and I was exhausted. After 2 more weeks I went to see my doctor. She did a lot of labwork and prescribed 2 antihistamines. All of the blood tests came back normal and I was taking the pills, but the itching and chills continued to get worse. I was miserable and my doctor had no further ideas what to do. I had a terrible stomach pain, then I felt nauseated and had very bad diarrhea. Luckily Dr. T worked next door to our clinic. He immediately diagnosed a stomach flu and he got me some tablets. ""Take 4 tablets twice a day for a few days and you'll be fine"" he said. After I took the tablets only ten minutes went by and my diarrhea and stomach pain stopped. I felt fine for the rest of the day. About six month later I had a huge canker sore on my tongue. I could only talk with a slurred speech. It hurt to talk and especially to eat. Again I went to see Dr. T. He made an herbal tea for me, which helped a little bit. So he went into his pharmacy and put together some awful tasting powder. He directly put it on my canker sore, and immediately the pain was greatly decreased. The tongue almost felt numb. The next day it had all healed up. I have known Dr. Tennenbaum for many years. I essentially rely on him for my medical needs. He has treated me since my childhood, whenever I had a strep throat, fever, cold or cough he would prescribe herbs and I never had to resort to antibiotics. Once I had an ear infection and my mother took me to the pediatrician. He looked in my ears and said ""ear infection, you need antibiotics"". My mother then called Dr. T. and he said no problem, just come by and I'll give you herb pills. They were tiny pills and I had to swallow 10 of them at a time.
