I have 4 dogs all are rescues, all sizes and ages. We have done puppy checkups, spays, teeth cleaning and extraction, just about the works. The service at Tender Care is great. I appreciate that Dr. Susan herself calls after anything is done to follow up and see how the dog is doing. They are upfront in their pricing and everyone is friendly. I especially like Saturday hours and feel comfortable that in an emergency I'd be able to get the help I need. more

i took my 4 month old puppy to tender care animal hospital.dr. susan starr evaluated molly in detail and brought everything up to date with her shots,tests,etc.she was very thorough and very professional.the staff was very kind and helpful. they treated molly like she was their own. molly does not have to return for l year,which i will continue to take molly there. more

Tender Care 5/6/2013

Tender Care is by far one of the best vets around. Working with animals I hear all the time from people horror stories about different vets. I've never once heard anything bad about Tender Care. When my dog needed her ACL repaired other specialist were going to take almost a month to get her in (just to be seen.) Tender Care got her in for surgery just a few days after I called! And because she is so big they even had a specialist come in to make sure she would be in the best care. My dog Zoey feels so much better now and we owe it to Dr Judy. Dr Judy is AMAZING! You can tell she is not one of those vets who is burnt out and doesn't care. She greets me and my dog like we are family and doesn't make you feel rushed to get in and out. The receptionist are also very friendly as well. more

I will definitely come back! We got our dog Maddie (2 year old mixed breed) from the humane society. Maddie has seen 2 other vets in the past that were ok but not places I would want to go back. I wanted to get connected with a veterinarian that would take the time to get to know our dog. Dr Susan Starr and the technician did just that. I was impressed right away by there approach to Maddie. She's a bit excited with new people and their approach was calm, friendly and put us both at ease. I didn't feel rushed or pushed to purchase anything more than the checkup. The technician was very clear on the cost of the check up prior to anything being done. I felt I had a choice and was not pressured to ""up grade"". The exam was complete and all my questions were addressed. I feel that it was a great first meeting and plan to make Tender Care Animal Hospital and Dr Susan Starr part of our yearly plan. more

Tender Care really Cares! 2/13/2013

Tender Care Animal Hospital was wonderful! From the phone conversation to the visit, everyone was kind and caring. Our 16 year old cat was not well and we faced the worst case scenario. From the receptionist to the doctor everyone was amazing and our cat is better than ever!! The doctor even personally called after his surgery to let us know how he was doing. Their care for our pet was excellent! Appointment times and pricing was good too. We highly recommend Tender Care - they really do care! more

We took our newly adopted dog (Hank) to be treated for an open incision. Dr. Judy and her staff took wonderful care of us (on a Saturday no less). She even called on Monday and checked-up on him. Tender Care is a excellent place to take your pets. more

I absolutely adored the care that my puppy Zoey received. I feel like the entire staff was willing to listen to any problems and give advice. I have a vet up the street, but with the excellent care from the staff and Dr. Judy we will be back to see them tomorrow for Zoey's shots. I rate them a 100% more

I love that they love my dog, almost as much as I do. They call the next day to follow up. They don't mind the questions. The appointments are on time. They're professional! The staff is wonderful and the Doctors are amazing. Thank you again for being so nice to my puppy and always calling him Handsome. I'll bet you say that to all the boys. more

Very happy :) 8/5/2012

We took our dog to the Tender Care Animal Hospital because we were referred to them from a friend. I am so glad we did! Our puppy loved visiting there and they have an excellent staff. We were greeted and seated right away and Dr. Judy was very nice and played with Morgan. I truly feel that they care a lot about our puppy and the health of our dog. I am very glad my friend referred us because we had a wonderful experience there! more

We have been going to Tender Care for several years, ever since we got our little Pappilon puppy. The Doctors (especially Dr. Judy) are wonderful, the staff is attentive and knowledgeable, and the charges are always reasonable. Dr. Judy took such good care of my old cat, Moe, that he almost (almost!) liked her. more

Tender Care is right for us. 4/13/2012

I would definitely recommend Tender Care Animal Hospital. We have a Great Dane puppy and before bringing her home we called about 5 hospitals and visited them all. Without a doubt Tender care was the best. \r \r After bringing our puppy home we took her in for her first visit and the staff treated Bianca so well, Dr. Judy Dennis is excellent with her. Thank you for making us feel comfortable when we visit your office. more

Our first experience at this vet 4/12/2012

I was very pleased in the first place with the price that I researched online, that caught my attention. I was expecting the worse compared to what I paid when we got there. But I was wrong, the staff/ tech was very nice, handle our two large breed dogs very well and were so kind. Dr Judy was very nice too, she realized my shepard was scared and noticed that and didnt force him to behave. She was patient and kind with both my babies :) I also really appreciated the follow up call!! more

Sincere care for your pet 1/20/2012

Dr. Judy was so attentive to my pets. And between her and the technician answering all of my questions and giving me quotes on procedures, I really felt fully informed about what was going on. I was also pleasantly surprised by the follow-up call that Dr. Judy did just to check up on them. I really felt at home and a sincere care for my animals when I was there. I would highly recommend this vet to anybody who cares about their loved ones! more

Calming the Nerves of a Stressed Out Cat 1/15/2012

I highly recommend Tender Care Animal Hospital to take care of the furry side of your family-your pets. I have been bringing my cat, Sophie, to Tender Care Animal Hospital for almost 3 years. Sophie is a very loving cat while at home. However, she turns into a little terror when brought into the Vet's office for routine checkups. The staff, including Dr. Judy Dennis, her technicians and her cat "whisperer" have been very patient with my stressed out kitty every time they see her. They are very forgiving and loving towards Sophie, despite her ill behavior. \r \r Recently, Sophie became ill. I called Tender Care and left a message with my concerns. Dr. Judy called me back promptly and continued to help as I called several times throughout the day to get advice regarding the next steps to take for Sophie's recovery from her illness. With her knowledge, care and support, I was able to get the help Sophie needed.\r \r It is apparent that all of the staff are there to do what is best for animal more

Excellent Care 2/23/2011

I have always been impressed with the service and care my dog Alex and I have received. Alex was a patient of Dr. Bob McCool. He loved Dr. Bob and always looked forward to seeing him. Alex always received great care. I am very particular when it comes to taking care of my dog and want only the best. Alex had cancer and died several weeks ago. The quality of care Alex received was outstanding. I could not have asked for better care or support from the doctors and staff. Alex was always treated with dignity, respect, and loving care. Dr. Bob, Dr. Judy, Dr. Amy, and Dr. Susan provided excellent end of life care. I feel very good about Alex's care. I could not have asked for better doctor's. I do appreciate all of the excellent care given to Alex. He received the best care possible. I am very grateful to the caring staff and doctor's at Tender Care Animal Hospital. Tender Care Animal Hospital-Saving Pixie's Life 8/10/2010

"I would highly recommend Tender Care Animal Hospital to anyone. Recently, my dog, Pixie, became very ill. I took her to Tender Care and they diagnosed her with pancreatitis. Since she was not improving after a few days in intensive care, the doctor recommended an ultrasound, which showed she had a 3 inch abscess in her pancreas. The doctor recommended I go to a specialist as this was a very difficult surgery with only a 50% chance of surviving. Unfortunately, I did not have the money to go to the specialists so the doctor at Tender Care offered to perform the surgery at half off since my only other option was to put Pixie to sleep. Fortunately, surgery went well and Pixie made a full recovery! There is no way Pixie would be alive today if it weren't for the care I received at Tender Care. I will always be grateful." more
