We bring our dogs to tenaker on a regular basis, for grooming and doggie daycare. Every experience has been a great experience. When we get these guys home from daycare they are wiped out. Some times from work I can sneak a peak on line, they always make me wish I were there instead. more

LOVE the training program!!!! 6/23/2010

I was goining on vacation and decided to do the dog training 2 week boarding instead of just the Kennel. To sum up everything. My dog is a changed dog. When you say sit he sits, stay he stays, lay down he does. I was amazed I almost cried. He was happy to see me and is always happy when we return. Ron the trainer will always return your call if you have any questions on what to do in a situation. I recomend this place for their training packages WELL WORTH THE MONEY and all the workers I have encounted were great and always willing to help. This WILL be the place I take Bear for all my boarding and training needs. Thanks Tenaker and Trainer Ron. I am so in love with Bear now he goes EVERY a dog can go and everyone comments on his manners!!! more

A very very negative experience 7/13/2009

I initially called on June 12, 2009 to make reservations for my 2 dogs for the 4th of July week and since I had boarded 1 of my dogs previously with no issues I did not call to confirm. Unfortunately when I got their on July 3rd the associate said he didn't show any reservation. You can imagine my horror knowing I had to make a flight within hours! This young kid named Jordan Martinez showed no apologies for their mistake and said he could get my dogs into a suite at 36.00 a day + He was unsympathetic and gave the WORST customer service I have ever received. Fortunately someone had just cancelled so they were able to accommodate my dogs however he sarcastically said that I was lucky because otherwise they could not have helped me. I also gave special instructions for medication and feeding (which of course I was charged extra). Upon returning from vacation it looked like they did not administer the medication and did not follow my feeding instructions. You have certainly lost my busin more

Incompetent Staff 7/2/2009

I had planned on taking my dogs to Tenaker for July 4th weekend. Their systems were down and it took me three days and several phone call before their systems were finally able to take my contract...this was frustrating in its own right. On each of the calls they told me that they could administer Bordetella to one of my dogs, whose vaccine had expired. On the day before I was planning to drop them off, I called to finalize everything and they told me that since its a busy holiday weekend they could not give the Bordetella the day he arrived. The manager was not very apologetic when I complained to him about the mis-information I received on all of my previous calls. They left me high and dry with no pet care, the day before a busy holiday weekend. I do not recommend taking your pets here, makes you wonder what other mistakes they make. i am a long term client who was present at the time of drop off with this client, i also was present at the time of pick up, i remember staff member john explaining to this lady that she would be charged for her day of drop off and would be charged through sunday, just as a human hotel would do. more

There were actually no other clients present at the time I dropped my dogs off or picked them up and I was helped by a female staff member, not "John". It is possible you are speaking about a different customer who has also been scammed by this company, however my review and my experiences are valid. more

A Happy Dog - A Happy Mom 11/22/2008

After trying out several different daycares in the area and never finding one that met my expectations, I finally found the perfect one! I found the rare place where my boy could get all the human love and attention he needed, where he had a large play area with stimulating activities, a heated swimming pool and great treats! What a relief to finally have a safe, loving place to have him spend his days! Tenaker Pet Care Center has been a delight for both of us. The caring and competent staff always take great care of him and I never doubt my decision to leave him there because of his total excitement each time we head that way! The web cam is great when I have a chance to sneak a peek at him playing in the play yard or swimming pool from work or home. How lucky we were that we walked into the doors of Tenaker Pet Care Center over 3 years ago! more

They saved her life 10/21/2008

I won't forget the day we came home and found our poodle bleeding. She had been run over years back and had internal proms ever since. Well she was lethargic and cold. We rushed her to the Tenaker Petcare center. They didn't even ask questions, they could see right away something grave was wrong. They immediately attended to my baby and I am happy to say she is still with us today. Our pets are our family members. I wouldn't trust them to anyone else. more

Best Dog Kennel in the entire city 10/21/2008

This place is unbelieveable. There's a swimming pool, a huge play area and the large kennels are always clean. The staff is always very helpful and polite. I would recommend Tenaker Pet Care to anyone. Pros: Everything. This place is 5-star. Cons: None. more

Best doggie daycare in metro area 10/15/2008

Harley, my lab is waiting at the front door every morning, looking forward to his daily swim, and fun with his buddies. Great staff, they welcome Harley like he's coming home. Pros: Big play area with heated swimming pool. Cons: None more
