I'm very new to St. Louis and was therefore a little panicked when my car got a flat tire a few days ago. I managed to get the spare on, and took it to Midtown to see if my tire could be fixed. The first man I spoke with took one look at my tire and said it looked old and like it may have had dry rot. Still, the initial assessment was just for fixing the flat. He was on the end of his shift and made sure to pass on all the information before he left, and even gave me a ride back to my apartment. A few hours later I got a call that they thought I should replace two tires (they were old and cracking). Every interaction I had with them, they were nothing but polite and professional. As a girl in her early twenties, I've had my share of guys trying to sell me all sorts of replacements and repairs that my car didn't need, and it was incredibly refreshing. I never felt spoken down, and the repairs were very quick given I dropped my car off with no notice around noon on a Saturday. Extremely happy and will definitely be bringing my car back for any work it may need in the future. more

Whenever I go there for service or repair I am treaed with the utmost respect, courtesy and professionalism. I do not know much about vehicle repair or diagnosis etc...but i do know they talk TO me not at me, or down at me...they fix my vehicle to specs and let me know what to expect in the future. They make sure I understand the problem and what was done that day and they make sure i understand it on my terms...not technical jargon that only they know. I respect them, trust and rely on them and will use them in the future more

I'm currently an out of town student at Slu. I have used this auto shop probably 10 times over the last 3 years. Most of the time its for inspections, or minor tire repairs. They are always able to get the work done and at a competitive price. Most importantly they are student friendly, and offer not just student discounts but a ride to and from my class so I was able to get my car. I will continue to use them and would highly recommend them. more

I have used this shop several times and have always been explained what was needed to repair my vehicles. I felt I was treated fairly and was charged fairly. Each charge was explained to me. I also learned that an L-1 mechanic is a step above a Master Mechanic and that they have 2 of them on staff. Everyone was ASE certified and the shop and waiting room was very clean which tells me they pay attention to detail.They do all vehicle repairs except body work...an Excellent shop and I will continue to use them in the future more

Here's shop you need to know about if you have a child at SLU or any midtown campus. I've known the owners and some of the shop techs for quite a while and these guys do a great job of working with the customer to get the job done right. With Saturday hours and within walking distance of the school this is the place to use if you're near the Central West End. They work on brakes, steering, exhaust, suspension, drivability and general repairs. They also sell tires and are very competitive.
