Not happy 9/24/2016

I brought my car in Monday for a scheduled maintenance and asked that the fluids and belts be checked because I would be driving on a long trip. I also asked that the fluid be prepped for winter. When I picked the car up, the only thing listed on the bill was the oil change so I have no idea if anything else was done. I will be bringing the car back in to check on this but if the entire maintenance was not done I'm left not knowing if I can drive the car on my trip or not. Not good! more

Excellent Shop 9/14/2016

I was in for routine maintenance...have used them since 2007 and would not go anywhere else...their service writer did an excellent job of getting my vehicle in and serviced, explained what was done in terms I could understand...Thanks again...I WILL BE BACK more

Bad alignment and false diagnosis 0/2 8/23/2016

Alignment is bad, car pulls harder than ever and wheel must be held to the left to go straight. I asked about a rattle and was told it was my bumper. I asked about brake rattles and was told that they knew better. I had not inspected anything myself yet and just figured it couldn't hurt to ask them since the car would be in for an alignment anyway. I went home and inspected my calipers. 3/4 have retaining clips that serve to keep them from rattling. Thanks guys. Great job. At least they didn't try to upset me on anything other than tires. more

The location is close and convenient. 7/27/2016

In the past some of my experiences were not too favorable. However due to the close locale of the shop I thought I'd try again.In my opinion the quality of service has improved greatly and I look forward to future like experiences. Thank you Midtown Tire and Auto Service more

Great Service 7/20/2016

I am always grateful to the folks at Midtown Tire and Auto - was in recently for a tire rotation and it was handled quickly - I was out in less than an hour, and there was a line when I walked in. Service and staff are great! more

I have been going to Midtown Tire and Auto for over 10 years now. Without a doubt, the customer service is top notch. If they tell me that my car will be ready at 1:00 pm, IT IS READY AT 1:00 PM or earlier. I could not be happier. more

Charged more than quoted 7/17/2016

I normally like this place and these guys, but last time I was in there I was charged more than they said it would be. They tacked on a bunch of extra fees and when I asked they didn't give an explaination. I didn't feel like making a stink so I just paid it. The work itself was good I guess. more

Visited for Check Engine Light; charged 130 $ and the light came on again a few days later... 6/23/2016

The folks of this shop were nice and responsive. I was a bit shocked to find out that it cost 130 to address my check engine light - but trusted them and assumed that was standard. The only issue is that the check engine light came back on two days later. more

Car not touched over 2 hours later 5/17/2016

I dropped off my car for an inspection after calling Midtown Auto and getting a quote of 1 hour for it to be completed. An hour after dropping it off, I called to check on the status. I was assured that it had been a busy morning, but that they had just started inspecting my car. Over 1.5 hours later, I arrived to find my car parked exactly where I had left it and no one had touched it. Wasting over 2 hours for my car after being quoted half that time is ridiculous. As I had to go to work, I had to take my keys back and left - would not recommend! more

Home Away From Home 4/23/2016

Proprietor brothers welcomed this traveler graciously & hospitably. My high-mileage, fully occupied Chevrolet Tahoe earned their respect as they rescued my vehicle's aging air-conditioner to live for yet another season. So close to Saint Louis University, I am truly blessed. more
