Used Car Dealership of Pet Care 3/15/2012

Our puppy received a 4th round of booster shots for a booster that should only require 3-4 shots. Upon checkout, the technician stated that the doctor wanted a 5th round of shots in 3 weeks. This was never discussed with us during the time we were in with Dr. Inman. \r \r We decided we were going to go with a different vet from now on, and requested a copy of his records. In his records, we saw several inaccuracies, as well as a note stating that "we were rude" in regards to questioning the 5th round of shots.\r \r Based off of the inaccuracies in the shot record and the notes that Dr. Inman had taken, I am truly concerned for the safety and health of my pet. It is obvious from the notes that he does not pay attention to what the pet owner has to say, nor does he give any regard to the concerns of the pet owner. Telegraph Road provides great pet care 4/12/2011

Telegraph Road Animal Hospital has gone above and beyond in the care of our pets. We adopted a dog last year and then found out she was pregnant. Dr. Inman was wonderful for the visits, very gentle with our dog, and guided us through her pregnancy and called us to check in and answer questions. All the pups were seen at the hospital, by Drs. Inman and Harrison, and they were both great. Over Christmas, we boarded the pups that didn't have homes yet and got detained in Texas for longer than we anticipated. TRAH extended the boarding and took care of the pups- no easy task with how many there were. It is easy to make an appointment and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this facility. They make me feel at ease about the care of my animals. more

Caring 2/21/2011

I have read some of these reviews and I have been going to this hospital for years. I have never once had an issue with any one being heartless. The staff at the hospital are so caring and compassionate that I would and will not go any where else. I see the man doctor and he is a good doctor. They have had to put several of my long lost friends down and they tell you prior to it what may happen so you won't be alarmed it's not a bad thing if you have never been through putting your friend down. They have the compassion and love like I wish others had they got down on there knees with me and cried and hugged me!!! Now if that's not being part of a family I don't know what is. Keep up the great work guys!!!! more

Greedy, Cold, Cruel and Calculating 2/17/2011

I am a veteran of the Armed Forces and as such I have seen many, many businesses that target servicemembers and their families. Although I had thought most of the scammers were limited to car dealers, landlords and strip club owners, I must add Telegraph Road Animal Hospital to that long and distinguished list of rip-off artists and insensitive, cold-hearted greedy lowlifes. Like the other reviewers, I found the facility to be extremely filthy and in need of a good scrubbing, or perhaps a good razing and rebuilding. My wife and I recently had to make the difficult decision to have our pet put to sleep. This was one of the hardest decisions we have had to make; after agreeing it was what needed to be done, we took our pet to TRAH. I must say the female vet possesses a level of cruelty and God-complex unlike anyone I have ever encountered. This person actually had the audacity to second-guess my spouse and I on why we were unwilling to put our pet on pills, which naturally were available more

Kind, Caring, and Reasonably priced 11/18/2010

I absolutely love this place. After reading some of the reviews, I was really nervous about taking my rabbits here, but they are really awesome people. They all very much care about the animals and do everything they can to help them. The prices are fair and the hours aren't super convenient, but honestly, for their service, I am happy to change my schedule around. I brought one of my bunnies in because he had an upper respiratory infection and they quickly saw him, handled him carefully, and gave me medicine to give him. They even called several days later to see how he was doing. They are wonderful people and I wouldn't trust my bunnies with anyone else! more

Informative, Friendly, and Caring 8/26/2010

I'm a new client to Telegraph Road Animal Hosp. and I found that they have a great staff who were friendly and caring toward not only toward my new kitten, Charlie, but the tech who assisted me also involved my 7 year-old son, letting him help her with weighing him. The doctor was also very clear in informing me what needed to be done about Charlie's booster shots and testing him for parasites. I highly recommend them!! more

My experience at this hospital was terrific! Although this is an older hospital, it was clean and I could tell they really cared about my pets. The ladies in the front were so friendly and the doctor actually cared. I would recommend them to everyone! more

Fantastic!! 6/25/2010

I have been going there for years. They are fabulous. Wonderful, caring staff who treat my pets as if they were their own. While I have cats, several of my friends have pet lizards and have taken them there as well and were all pleased. I highly recommend them!. more

Telegraph Road Animal Hospital is dirty, overly expensive, and dishonest 11/13/2009

This place was very dirty. The floors were grimy and covered in hair. They are very expensive. When I went in with my dog, I told them that he was there for shots and which ones he needed. They took him in the back and told me he was having his temperature taken. When I went to pay the bill, I was told that when he was back there, they gave him a heartworm test that I hadn't requested, and charged me $53 for it. I haven't met the male vet, so I can't give my opinion of him, I saw the female. She was good with my dog and very gentle, but very pushy with me. She lied to me and told me that dog ear cleaning solution, heartworm pills, and flea medication weren't available anywhere in stores, and that I needed to buy it from her. I know that these are available elsewhere, and for a lot cheaper. They are evasive about prices, and they will not tell you what your bill will be until you get to the checkout. I would definitely not recommend this vet to anyone unless you have to go in for an more

Telegraph Road Animal Hospital is very unprofessional and dirty! 10/23/2009

The place is dirty and gross with blood stains all over the walls and chairs. The staff was rude and the manager was very unprofessional and rude when she spoke with me. The doctor was in a hurry the whole time and his hands never stopped shaking which was a concern of mine. Not to mewntion they are way overpriced! I DONT reccomend taking any pet there unless you had to. I think this hospital may need new MGMT if it wants to keep its doors open in the future. more

Not a fan 8/7/2009

The friday before July 4th weekend, I noticed my cat had some sort of eye infection. My original vet was out of town, so I made an appointment at Telegraph Animal Hospital. When I was brought into the room, I noticed that it was filthy. There were two chairs that were covered in stains and the floor and baseboards were covered in animal hair. The vet was very friendly, but she informed me that my cat could possibly have a herpes infection of the eye though she wasn't sure because she didn't have sores or ulcers. So she gave me an ointment and told me to put in her eye twice a day. When I went to pay my bill I was told I was being charged $15 dollars for a "biohazard" fee. I had never heard of such a fee. After a week my cat's eye was not getting any better, so I called my regular vet and she said that the ointment needs to put in the eye four times a day and if she didn't have any sores she most likely doesn't have a herpes infection. But she said to give it a try for about 5 days since i already had the medication and see if there was any improvement with the added treatments. When there was no improvement, I took the cat to my vet and she gave me eye drops and said my cat probably had an allergic reaction to new litter or something in the environment. My cat's eye cleared up within 24 hours after using these drops!! I have read good reviews about Telegraph Animal Hospital but since my experience wasn't great, I cannot say I recommend this place. Great Vets! 1/6/2009

When my Fiance and I had a roomate, we brought his dog here a few times. His primary vet was at this vacinity. I tended to always be the one to bring him in. Staff was always friendly, and the vets he saw were always kind and VERY gentle. Now we bring our rabbit here if need be. more
