Teerman's Of Holland

Don't ever have anything repaired at Teerman's. I dropped off an A/V receiver for repair which required taking the case off and soldering a connection on a board. On dropping it off, I asked for an estimate for the repair and was not given an approximate cost. The hourly repair rates are not posted, which I later was informed were $50/hr when I picked the unit up. I was not called to be informed of the job cost after diagnosis which I provided upon drop off. An outrageous sum was charged for this service. When I complained about the cost of the repair, I was told "you could have done it yourself" with no explanation of the difficulty of the repair. They really don't care about their customers or even attempt to provide reasonable customer service. I had not approved of the repairs being done at the charges which were imposed. My equipment was being held hostage and I had to pay the ransom. Worst customer service ever. more

A real local department store. They carry all the basics from TV’s, dishes, to porch furniture. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They have parking in the back of their store too. If you’re looking for service this is the place to come. They also carry a gift registry for weddings. more

They are a nice local department store to go to. The prices there are a little on the pricey side but thats what you would expect of a downtown holland store. The staff there are friendly and welcoming. The staff will ask you as soon as you walk in if theres anything they can help you find. Usually im just browsing but its a nice and clean and respected place. more

I love going to Teerman's in Holland just to look around. They have so many different things there. From pots and pans to electronics. They can be pretty expensive, so I've never actually bought anything there. But, all the sales associates are super nice and will help you with anything they can. Also, it is always very clean. more

For a hometown store, they have a wonderful selection of home furnishings, clocks and kitchen gadgetry. The staff is helpful and friendly. Their electronics department is quite knowledgable as well. I also love the location as on a winter day, you needent worry about the snow with the wonderful heated sidewalks. more
