Our baby was there April-August 2020.
We did visits at the Goddard School, La Petite, 2 Kindercares, and this place. This place was the only one that would let us do 2 days, so we chose to go forward with them. Of note: it's also the cheapest per day.
When our baby started, they weren't prepared for him. He didn't have a nametag for his cubby for the diaper bag, or for his diapers, or for his milk. It probably took them 2 weeks to get a label.
I will say there is inattention to detail. When my baby switched from a 2 to a 3 for his bottle, he was spitting up a lot, so he'd need outfit changes. For some reason, they wouldn't check the diaper bag for outfits and our baby would come home in random outfits. My baby has eczema and our entire family uses Dreft soap, so I didn't really appreciate him wearing random clothes from Lost and Found.
We had multiple billing issues as well.
During the start of COVID, my husband was telecommuting, so we were stopping and starting because we didn't need the daycare some weeks. They basically held us hostage billing-wise every single time. We're talking about over $1500+ in daycare we didn't need, or even use.
Lastly, you will never see April, the owner, wearing a mask, during pick up. When I picked up my baby, their staff was never wearing a mask for me, even though I, myself, always showed up wearing a mask. There are a lot of kids at this daycare, meaning a lot of parents. I think it is irresponsible for their staff not to wear masks for the other adults they are interacting with.
I encourage you to do your own research. I'm shocked to see what is listed here: https://www.dss.virginia.gov/facility/search/cc2.cgi or search "fairfax county dss facility search".
